Abstract

This paper explores the integration of Blockchain and Artificial Intelligence (AI) in the realm of digital banking, focusing on enhancing transaction efficiency, preventing fraud, and promoting financial inclusion. Utilizing a literature review methodology, this study synthesizes existing research to identify the synergistic effects of these two transformative technologies. Blockchain offers a decentralized, secure framework for transactions, while AI enhances data analysis and decision-making capabilities. The findings reveal that the combined application of Blockchain and AI can significantly streamline banking operations, reduce the incidence of fraud through advanced predictive analytics, and extend financial services to underserved populations. A comparison followed on case studies of successful digital banks that e taken advantage of AI and Blockchain technologies. In order to validate the results, industry experts and banking professionals were interviewed qualitatively to find out on the one hand where the opportunities lie and on the other where the challenges are when doing this implementation. Furthermore, the research highlights the challenges and limitations of implementing these technologies, including regulatory hurdles and the need for robust cybersecurity measures. By addressing these issues, financial institutions can leverage Blockchain and AI to create a more secure, efficient, and inclusive banking environment. This study not only fills a critical research gap but also provides practical recommendations for banking practitioners and policymakers. Ultimately, the integration of Blockchain and AI is poised to redefine digital banking, ensuring that technological advancements contribute to a more equitable financial landscape.

Abstract

Mild steel has a wide range of uses such as in the construction field, automotive field, machinery industry, cookware, and pipeline. Metal Inert Gas (MIG) welding act as an assembly method of mild steel. Corrosion level is a common problem that occurs in MIG welding on mild steel. In this study, the suitable welding parameters such as voltage, number of passes, and method of welding were chosen in the experimental testing and the experimental testing was planned by using the Design of Experiment (DoE) as part of Taguchi method. The welded mild steel specimens were evaluated using a corrosion test. The data analysis was done by using Taguchi method. For the parameter to be the optimum welding parameter, the corrosion level was as low as possible. In this case, the S/N ratio smaller is better common interest is chosen. By using the Minitab 18 software, the S/N ratio was calculated. Hence from the result, the optimum parameter is 9V voltage, three passes and the welding method was circle push.

Abstract

Office Stationery (ATK) is one of the operational needs at the Padang Institute of Technology (ITP). Stationery procurement is carried out twice a year with an annual budget submission. ATK management is carried out manually starting from requests to the transaction system. Current conditions have resulted in procurement planning not being measured, resulting in running out of certain items in the middle of the period or excess of certain items at the end of the year. How to help the procurement department to determine procurement estimates, so that they can provide goods optimally and use the budget more effectively and efficiently for the coming period. Processing is carried out on ATK transaction data using the Monte Carlo simulation method. Simulation stages include determining probability, calculating cumulative distribution, determining intervals of random numbers, forming random numbers and creating simulations. The results of the simulations carried out can determine the estimated quantity of goods procurement and can reduce procurement costs by 25.6% when compared to procurement in the previous even semester period. The level of accuracy of results in predicting future conditions depends on the amount of historical data involved in this process. The simulation method used can be adjusted to the object being studied and the variables that object has.
