Abstract

Kebiasaan konsumsi makanan di kalangan mahasiswa tidak hanya mencerminkan preferensi individual, tetapi juga mencerminkan dinamika sosial-ekonomi dan budaya kampus. Penelitian ini mengkaji praktik habitualitas mahasiswa Universitas Negeri Jakarta dalam mengonsumsi mie ayam yamin di Kantin Blok G. Dengan pendekatan kualitatif dan wawancara mendalam, studi ini menelusuri motif di balik keputusan konsumsi yang berulang. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa keterbatasan finansial, waktu yang sempit akibat rutinitas akademik, serta lingkungan sosial kantin mendorong mahasiswa, khususnya perantau, untuk menjadikan mie ayam sebagai solusi praktis dan terjangkau. Pilihan rasa dan kenyamanan juga menjadi faktor penentu dalam reproduksi kebiasaan ini. Dalam konteks ini, konsumsi mie ayam yamin menjadi ekspresi dari adaptasi mahasiswa terhadap struktur kehidupan kampus, serta bagian dari praktik keseharian yang membentuk pola konsumsi kolektif. Food consumption habits among university students reflect not only personal preferences but also broader socio-economic dynamics and campus culture. This study explores the habitual practice of students at Universitas Negeri Jakarta in consuming mie ayam yamin at the Block G canteen. Using a qualitative approach and in-depth interviews, the research investigates the motivations behind recurring food choices. The findings reveal that financial constraints, limited time due to academic routines, and the social environment of the canteen encourage students especially those living away from home to opt for mie ayam as a practical and affordable solution. Taste preferences and convenience also play key roles in reproducing this habit. In this context, the consumption of mie ayam yamin emerges as a form of student adaptation to the structural conditions of campus life and as part of everyday practices that shape collective consumption patterns.

Abstract

Commuter behavior in the community around Jabodetabek causes the flow of population in big cities like Jakarta to become denser. This made the Jakarta provincial government take the initiative to create the Transjakarta program. Meanwhile, one of the busiest routes is corridor 4K which serves trips from the AGO Stop to Pulo Gadung Stop. The purpose of this research is to evaluate the extent of customer satisfaction in using Transjakarta route 4K services. This research uses a qualitative approach with in-depth interviews and observation as data collection methods. This research was conducted on Monday, June 30, 2025 and there were 5 informants, namely 2 students and 3 workers. The results showed that there were several successful evaluation indicators, such as the hotline number sticker, customer service friendliness, customer satisfaction level, and low cost. However, there are many indicators that cannot be said to be successful or even unsuccessful, such as the installation of CCTV, the quality of drivers, the comfort and cleanliness of facilities, the operation of TV displays, and the tap-in and tap-out machine payment system. This is a serious concern and can be used as a suggestion for the manager of Transjakarta corridor 4K in order to better manage Transjakarta 4K bus stops and buses.
