Abstract

The purpose of the study on the Ternate Customary Philosophy "Jou Se Ngofa Nagare" is to find out to what extent students of SMA Negeri 6 North Maluku Province can understand and comprehend the values ​​contained and used as a guideline for daily life because these values ​​have a relationship between humans and humans and humans with the creator of the universe. Because a person's thoughts or reflections on themselves and the universe that has been created by God Almighty, from all its contents have their own meanings. The Ternate Customary Philosophy "Jou Se Ngofa Nagare" is part of this cultural value to maintain peace in social, political, economic and cultural life so that the younger generation in this case students are not influenced by various developments of the times that can damage the order of local wisdom values, if the younger generation does not preserve cultural and cultural values, then a regional identity will be lost which has local wisdom that has been inherited by the ancestors in the land of Zajirah Al'mulk or the land of kings. Because the value of local wisdom is part of the socio-cultural capital to maintain human development to preserve the value of local wisdom contained in the Ternate Customary Philosophy "Jou Se Ngofa Nagare" is part of the identity and order towards a better future life, synergy is needed between the young generation and the community to build a commitment to maintain and preserve local culture in formal, informal and non-formal education.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to determine the role of teachers in instilling "Soekarano" nationalist values in class XI students in history learning at SMA Negeri 5 North Maluku Province. In the teaching and learning process teachers have an important role to increase learning motivation so that the teaching and learning process can be achieved well. For this reason, instilling nationalist values is very important so that students can know and interpret them and serve as a guide for students in formal, informal and non-formal education. To achieve this goal, history teachers have an important role in developing an understanding of the meaning of nationalism in the teaching and learning process. in history subjects in class XI students at SMA Negeri 5 North Maluku Province. Because history teachers do not just convey material that has been included in the history books provided, but this material provides motivation and encouragement to students so that learning objectives can be achieved well.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the application of the role-playing method in history learning to increase the learning interest of eleventh-grade students at SMA 5 in North Maluku Province. The problem underlying this research is the low interest of students in participating in history learning, indicated by a lack of attention, motivation, and active participation during the teaching and learning process. This study uses a qualitative approach with a descriptive research type, with the research subjects being history teachers and eleventh-grade students at SMA 5 in North Maluku Province. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation, and then analysed through data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results of the study show that the application of the role-playing method can increase students' interest in learning.It can be seen from the increased enthusiasm of students, their active involvement in discussions and role-playing, as well as their sense of responsibility in performing their respective roles. The classroom atmosphere becomes livelier, more enjoyable, and interactive. The challenges faced include limited time, students' mastery of the material, and some students lacking confidence. However, these challenges can be overcome through teacher guidance and the allocation of roles according to students' abilities.
