Abstract

The objectives of this study are analyze the level of the role of extension workers, analyze the level of ability of farmer groups and analyze the relationship between the role of agricultural extension workers and the development of and analyze the relationship between the role of agricultural extension workers and the development of farmer groups. This research uses a quantitative approach with a survey method. The sampling technique as many as 96 farmers. Data analysis used is Likert Scale, validity test, reliability test, categorization level and Spearman rank correlation test. Spearman rank correlation test. The role of extension workers as motivator, facilitator, communicator, consultant and innovator is categorized as moderate. The ability of farmer groups as a vehicle for cooperation is included in the category, a vehicle for learning and as a medium production unit. learning and as a medium production unit. The results of the Rank Spearman statistical test obtained a value of 0.302 <0.05, meaning that it is significantly significantly has a moderate correlation
