Abstract

Imunisasi dasar lengkap penting untuk diberikan agar tubuh membentuk kekebalan dan terhindar dari penyakit menular karena. Indonesia diperkirakan setiap tahun terjadi 5% (1,7 juta) kematian pada anak balita akibat penyakit yang dapat dicegah dengan imunisasi (PD3I).  Pengetahuan merupakan faktor predisposisi yang mempengaruhi kelengkapan imunisasi balita. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara pengetahuan ibu tentang imunisasi dasar dengan kelengkapan imunisasi dasar balita di Wilayah Kerja Puskesmas Modoinding. Jenis penelitian ini yaitu kuantitatif analitik dengan pendekatan cross sectional study.  Waktu penelitian dilakukan pada bulan Desember 2024- Febuari 2025. Dengan populasi 173 ibu yang memiliki balita berusia 12-24 bulan per bulan Deseber 2024 yang berdomisili di Wilayah kerja Puskesmas Modoinding. Sampel didapati sebanyak 62 responden dengan menggunakan rumus Lemeshow. Dalam penelitian ini didapati mayoritas ibu berpengetahuan baik dengan presentase 88,7% dan yang memiliki pengetahuan cukup 11,3%. Kelelengkapan imunisasi dasar mayoritas responden memiliki anak dengan status imunisasi dasar lengkap dengan presentase 90,3% dan tidak lengkap 9,7%. Hasil penelitian dengan uji chi square ditemukan adanya hubungan antara pengetahuan ibu tentang imunisasi dasar dengan kelengkapan imunisasi dasar balita di wilayah kerja puskesmas Modoinding (p = 0.001). Lewat penelitian ini diharapkan tenaga kesehatan atau kader posyandu dapat lebih meningkatkan pemberian informasi serta edukasi kepada ibu terkait imunisasi dasar anak.

Abstract

Complete basic immunization is important to provide so that the body can develop immunity and be protected from infectious diseases. Knowledge is a predisposing factor that influences the completeness of toddler immunization. This study aims to determine the relationship between maternal knowledge about basic immunization and the completeness of basic immunization in toddlers in the Working Area of Modoinding Health Center. The type of this research is quantitative analytic with a cross-sectional study approach. The research was conducted from December 2024 to February 2025. With a population of 173 mothers who have toddlers aged 12-24 months residing in the working area of the Modoinding Health Center. The sample consisted of 62 respondents using the Lemeshow formula. In this study, it was found that the majority of mothers had good knowledge with a percentage of 88.7% and those with sufficient knowledge 11.3%. The completeness of basic immunization among the majority of respondents had children with complete basic immunization status at a rate of 90.3% and incomplete at 9.7%. The research results with the chi-square test found a relationship between mothers' knowledge about basic immunization and the completeness of basic immunization for toddlers in the working area of the Modoinding health center (p = 0.001).
