Abstract

This study aims to identify (1) the needs of teachers regarding student worksheets (LKPD), (2) the prototype of student worksheets (LKPD), (3) the feasibility of student worksheets (LKPD) based on Problem Based Learning integrated with the local wisdom of Bali. This research is a type of R&D (Research and Development) involving potential and problem analysis, data collection, product design, validation, and revision. The subject of the research is fourth-grade teachers, and the object of this research is the problem-based learning (PBL) student worksheets integrated with local wisdom. The data collection techniques in this study are interviews and questionnaires, with instruments in the form of interview sheets and questionnaires. The data analysis of the research uses descriptive statistics. Based on the interview results, it can be concluded that teachers need student worksheets to support the learning process in schools to encourage student participation in class and motivate students to learn. The design of the student worksheets developed consists of a title, introduction, materials and sources, stages of activities, questions, and evaluation. The validation results show an average score of 89, categorized as valid, thus the student worksheets based on Problem-Based Learning integrated with local Balinese wisdom are deemed suitable for use.

Abstract

Abstrak Pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini dilatarbelakangi oleh  dengan keadaan di SD N 1 Cempaga yang masih terdapat beberapa siswa dari kelas 1 sampai kelas 4 yang mengalami kesulitan dalam membaca, menulis dan berhitung. Sehingga perlu dilakukannya pendampingan bagi siswa yang mengalami kesulitan membaca, menulis dan berhitung (calistung) di SD 1 Cempaga. Kegiatan pengabdian ini dilaksanakan di SD N 1 Cempaga, yang dilakukan mulai dari awal bulan Oktober sampai akhir bulan November 2023. Dalam pelaksanaanya, pengabdian ini dibantu oleh mahasiswa PPL ITP Markandeya Bali yang berjumlah 5 orang mahasiswa. Kegiatan pendampingan ini dilaksanaan selama 120 menit. Jumlah siswa yang mengikuti kegiatan pengabdian ini kurang lebih berjumlah 15 orang dari beberapa kelas. Proses pelaksanaan pengabdian ini dilaksanakan menggunakan metode pendampingan belajar secara langsung di sekolah yang dilakukan di luar jam pembelajaran berlangsung. Berdasarkan hasil pelaksanaan kegiatan pengabdian yang dilaksankan di SD N 1 Cempaga dapat meningkatkan kemampuan membaca, menulis dan berhitung (calistung) siswa yang mengalami kesulitan belajar. Dalam kegiatan pendampingan ini, siswa dibantu dalam mengenal huruf dan merangkai huruf menjadi suku kata dan lanjut hingga siswa dapat merangkai huruf secara mandiri dan lancar dalam membaca,  siswa juga di ajarkan untuk mengenal angka dari angka 1 sampai 20 kemudian membantu menjumlahkan 2 angka dan mengurangi angka-angka Kata kunci: pendampingan; calistung; kesulitan Abstract This research was motivated by the situation at SDN 1 Cempaga where there were still several students from grade 1 to grade 4 who had difficulty in reading, writing and arithmetic. So it is necessary to provide assistance for students who have difficulty reading, writing and counting (calistung) at SD 1 Cempaga. This service activity was carried out at SD N 1 Cempaga, which was carried out from the beginning of October to the end of November. In its implementation, this service was assisted by PPL ITP Markandeya Bali students totaling 5 students. This mentoring activity was carried out for 120 minutes. The number of students who participated in this service activity was approximately 15 people from several classes. The process of implementing this service is carried out using the method of direct learning assistance at school which is carried out outside of learning hours. Based on the results of the implementation of service activities carried out at SD N 1 Cempaga, it can improve the reading, writing and numeracy skills (calistung) of students who have learning difficulties. In this mentoring activity, students are assisted in recognizing letters and stringing letters into syllables and continue until students can string letters independently and fluently in reading, students are also taught to recognize numbers from numbers 1 to 20 then help add 2 numbers and reduce numbersKeywords: mentoring; calistung; difficulty
