Abstract

This juridical analysis of the criminal act of using the opportunity to gamble in the Criminal Code (KUHP) discusses the legal regulation of the criminal act of gambling via online platforms. In the digital era, the practice of online gambling has become a significant phenomenon. However, law enforcement against online gambling crimes still faces various obstacles and weaknesses. Therefore, this analysis focuses on applicable legal regulations, such as Article 303 of the Criminal Code, as well as Law no. 11 of 2008 concerning Information and Electronic Transactions (UU ITE), to find out how criminal acts of online gambling can be punished and overcome. This analysis also discusses the criminal sanctions that can be imposed, including imprisonment and fines, as well as effective prevention and law enforcement efforts.

Abstract

Menabung merupakan kegiatan menyisihkan sebagian uang atau pendapatan yang dimiliki untuk disimpan dengan tujuan untuk mengelola uang tersebut. Manfaat menabung bisa diperoleh hasilnya ketika kita menjalani kegiatan menabung ini secara rutin dan tekun. Hal tersebut bertujuan untuk menjalankan pola hidup hemat dan juga merupakan pembangunan karakteristik untuk tidak menghaburkan uang yang semestinya diterapkan sejak dini. Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat Universitas Pamulang melakukan salah satu kegiatan Penyuluhan tentang “Pentingnya Manfaat menabung Sejak Dini” kepada para siswa Yayasan Lembaga Pendidikan Islam Ziadatul Khoir Center, mengingat masih rendahnya budaya menabung di kalangan siswa khususnya menabung di suatu bank. Kegiatan ini bertujuan untuk (1) memberikan pemahaman kepada siswa mengenai pentingnya menabung dan manfaatnya untuk masa depan; (2) memotivasi siswa untuk mau menabung sehingga menumbuhkan kesadaran pada siswa untuk dapat menyisihkan sebagian kecil dari uang jajannya untuk ditabung: Metode Pelaksanaan PKM ini yaitu dengan Metode Penyuluhan dan interaktif secara offline atau tatap muka langsung dengan tetap memperhatikan Protokol Kesehatan ( 3 M ) secara ketat. Hasil dari kegiatan PKM ini diharapkan para siswa di Yayasan Lembaga Pendidikan Ziadatul Khoir Center dapat menerapkan pola hidup yang hemat demi masa depan yang lebih baik.Kata Kunci: Perencanaan Keuangan, Gaya Hidup, Pentingnya Menabung

Abstract

This study aims to examine the use of metacognitive-based skimming strategies in the context of academic reading through e-books in EFL students. This study uses mixed method design with sequential explanatory approach to integrate quantitative and qualitative data systematically. The study participants consisted of ten students of the fifth semester of the English Language Education Study Program at Universitas Kuningan who were selected through convenience sampling and involved in all stages of the research. Data collection was conducted through four stages, namely initial observation to identify student skimming strategies before intervention, application of metacognitive-based skimming learning that includes planning, monitoring, and evaluation stages, filling out questionnaires through Google Forms, and open interviews to explore student experiences and reflections. Quantitative Data were analyzed using descriptive statistics, while qualitative data were analyzed thematically. The results showed that in the early stages, most students apply skimming intuitively and unstructured with a limited level of metacognitive awareness. After the implementation of metacognitive-based learning, students showed a significant improvement in setting reading goals, controlling the skimming process, as well as evaluating the accuracy of the main ideas obtained.
