Abstract

The research aims to determine how local government expenditure on economic growth, HDI, and poverty in South Kalimantan is influenced. This research uses panel data regression analysis, consisting of 13 districts/cities in South Kalimantan during the 2012-2018 periode. The expenditure variable used in this research is the realization of local government expenditure based on function. The result of the study indicates that local government expenditure in education had no significant effect on economic growth, HDI, and poverty. At the same time, the local government expenditure on health has a significant effect on economic growth, HDI, and poverty.

Abstract

This study aims to (1) To find out the income of the people who live around the oil palm company in Pulau Laut Tengah District, Kotabaru Regency, (2) to find out the welfare of the community living around the palm oil company in Pulau Laut Tengah District, Kotabaru Regency. Respondents in this study were 94 heads of households from Pulau Laut Tengah District, Kotabaru Regency with data collection techniques through questionnaires, observations and documentation. The data analysis technique used is descriptive and quantitative analysis The results of this study indicate that the income of respondents working in oil palm companies has a salary of 2 million to 5 million rupiah depending on the status of work. Respondents related to oil palm companies and those not related to oil palm companies in the villages of Mekarpura, Salino and Sungai Pasir are quite well off and able to meet their daily needs

Abstract

This research was conducted to analyze the effect of financial sector indicators on economic growth in the South Kalimantan Province. The needles used are third-party funds, credit, and investment. Descriptive quantitative is the approach used in this study. By obtaining data sources in the form of time series data originating from the Central Statistics Agency and Bank Indonesia from 2006-to 2018, the data is processed multiple linear regression method After processsing and analyzing the data, in this study the result were obtained : (1) the variable third party funds on economic growth showed positive and significant results, then credit and investment variables showed different result with a negative but significant on economic growth (2) The variable with the biggest impact is the third party funds variable with a coefficient 0,336111

Abstract

The objectives of this study are : (1) The economic value of citronella farming in the Kayutangi KPH Area, Banjar Regency, and (2) Obstacles to lemongrass farming in terms of cultivation post-harvest handling in KPH Kayutangi, Banjar Regency. Methode of this study is Quantitative and used 14 respondents, namely ten managers and members of farmer groups, 3 FMU officers, and one CV representative. Nusantara Asri. Processing analysis in this study uses the method of income (TR) minus the total cost (TC) to analyze the profit of citronella farming. At the first harvest, the economic value of citronella farming in the KPH Kayutangi area of Banjar Regency is (minus) -Rp. Ten million seven hundred thirty-seven thousand due to the results of the distillation under SNI, as for the annual economic value (3 x harvest) if lemongrass cultivation is fully handed over to farmers to buy cultivation needs directly on the market with the assumption that the distillation results are following SNI standards, then 2 hectares of land will generate a profit of Rp. 92.281.000, while if the distillation results are under SNI, they still get a profit of Rp. 19.321.000.
