Abstract

This research aims to (1) Knowing the most dominant criteria that influence tourists visiting natural attractions in the Balangan Regency, (2) Knowing the choice of natural attractions most likely to be visited by tourists in the Balangan Regency. This research uses descriptive quantitative research, and the research location is in Balangan Regency. In the analysis technique using the AHP (Analytical Hierarchy Process) method based on the results of the calculation, it is obtained from the 4 most dominant criteria in determining visiting tourists, namely natural beauty and the choice of natural attractions that tourists tend to visit from 3 alternative criteria is Mount Hauk.

Abstract

This research was conducted to (1) analyze the effect of rubber land area, the number of rubber trees, fertilizer costs, and the number of workers on the income of rubber farmers in Hayup Village, Haruai District, Tabalong Regency. (2) Knowing the most dominant factor influencing the income of rubber farmers in Hayup Village, Haruai District, Tabalong Regency. This research is included in quantitative descriptive research; this study used respondents of 52 rubber farmers in Hayup Village, Haruai District, Tabalong Regency. The data in this study were then processed using multiple linear regression analysis using SPSS version 21 software. This study indicates that together the factors of rubber land area, number of rubber trees, fertilizer costs, and the number of labor force affect the income of rubber farmers in Hayup Village, Haruai District, Tabalong Regency. The most dominant factor influencing the income of rubber farmers in Hayup Village, Haruai District, Tabalong Regency is the fertilizer cost factor.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of Economic Growth, Gross Participation Rate (SD, SLTP, SLTA), and Population Growth Rate on the Percentage of Poverty in Regencies/Cities of South Kalimantan Province. This research The method used in this study is panel data regression with a Fixed Effect Model (FEM) approach using E-Views 10 Software. The data used is secondary data panel (pooled data) which is a combination of time series data from 2015 to 2019 and cross section. The results of this study show that Economic Growth has a significant and positive effect on the percentage of poverty, the gross participation rate of elementary schools and high schools has an insignificant and negative effect on the poverty, and the population growth rate has an effect on the poverty, and the population growth rate has an effect  significant and positive on the poverty.
