Abstract

The materials development was conducted due to fact which indicated the limited learning materials in IPA subject in accordance with the students’ needs and scientific thoughts. Besides, the existing learning materials had not been able to foster students’ positive character values. This study was aimed at developing learning tools through Process Skills Approach which was integrated with Characters Building that is valid, practical, effective and worthy to be used in learning process. Thus, it was assumed that those learning tools could improved students' learning outcomes and positive character. This was a developmental research (research and development). The development model used was 4-D model which consisted of defining level (define), planning (design), developing (development) and disseminating (disseminate). In defining level, the curriculum, students and materials were analyzed inplanning level, the learning tools such as syllaby, lesson plan, handout, student’s worksheet, assessment of cognitive, affective, character psychomotor, project, and performance were designed. In developing level, the validity was tested through learning tools validation sheets. The practicality test was lested through lesson plan observation sheet, teachers’ and student’s response questionnaire, and the effectivity was tested through cognitives, affective, characters, psychomotor, project, and performance assesment with student’s responses questionnaire. This research produced IPA learning tools for junior high school on light and optical instrument by using Process Skills approach orientation integrated with character building that was very valid, practical and effective.

Abstract

The research carried out is related to assessing the use of learning models. The learning model used is the Instructional Design development model on Static Fluid material in Class XI SMA Negeri 1 Batangtoru. This model requires students to be more active in class. The use of this model will be combined with the use of modules as a learning resource, so that it can become an alternative for implementing learning. The aims of this research are 1) to describe learning using modules as an effective learning resource, 2) to describe student activities while using the Instructional Design Development Model in Static Fluid material in Class XI SMA Negeri 1 Batangtoru with modules as a learning resource, 3) to describe the results student learning while using the Instructional Design development model in Static Fluid material in Class Learning Resources.This research is action research which is developmental and pre-eliminary in nature, so it only uses one class. The research design uses Kemmis MC Taggart's cycle model with a One Group Pretest-Posttest Design learning pattern. This research was carried out at SMA Negeri 1 Batangtoru class XI MIPA1, with 34 students. This learning consists of three cycles. The implementation of learning in each cycle uses different syntax, so that you can find out which cycle is most effective. Student learning activities are divided into three stages, Instruction stage, Doing stage, and Evaluating stage. Student learning activities increase in each cycle. Student activities are in the active to very active category. The highest student activity is in cycle 3 with the very active category. Student scores increase from pretest to posttest in each cycle. The highest posttest average score was in cycle 2. The highest n-gain was also in cycle 2 with the medium category. Student learning retention is included in the very strong category. The most effective learning uses the Instructional Design development model in Static Fluid material in Class XI SMA Negeri 1 Batangtoru with modules as learning resources located in cycle 2. Based on the analysis of research data results, it can be concluded that the Instructional Design development model for Static Fluid material in Class XI SMA Negeri 1 Batangtoru with modules as learning resources is suitable for use in Static Fluid material in Class This model can be an alternative learning model implemented by teachers. This research requires thorough preparation, so that further research can be better prepared.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh rendahnya hasil belajar Ilmu Pengetahuan Alam dan Sosial (IPAS) siswa kelas IV MIN 2 Padangsidimpuan pada materi Energi, akibat pembelajaran pasif dan minimnya media interaktif. Tujuan penelitian adalah menguji pengaruh model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Numbered Heads Together (NHT) berbantu multimedia interaktif terhadap hasil belajar IPAS siswa kelas IV. Penelitian menggunakan desain quasi-eksperimental dengan pre-test dan post-test. Sampel terdiri dari 46 siswa: kelas IV D sebagai kelompok eksperimen (n=22) dan kelas IV A sebagai kelompok kontrol (n=24), dipilih secara purposive sampling. Instrumen berupa tes essay 10 soal yang telah divalidasi dan reliabel. Data dianalisis menggunakan statistik deskriptif, uji normalitas Shapiro-Wilk, dan uji t independen dengan bantuan SPSS. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan rata-rata pre-test kelas eksperimen 68,31 meningkat menjadi 84,00 pada post-test, sementara kelas kontrol hanya mencapai 76,00. Uji hipotesis menghasilkan sig.(2-tailed) = 0,017 < 0,05 dan F = 26,805 (sig. = 0,000). Hal ini membuktikan bahwa model NHT berbantu multimedia interaktif memberikan pengaruh yang signifikan dan positif terhadap hasil belajar IPAS. Penelitian menyimpulkan bahwa integrasi model kooperatif dan teknologi multimedia efektif meningkatkan pemahaman konsep, motivasi, serta partisipasi siswa.

Abstract

Universitas Islam Negeri Syekh Ali Hasan Ahmad Addary Padangsidimpuan mengembangkan tugas Tri Dharma Perguruan Tinggi yang meliputi kegiatan pendidikan dan pengajaran, penelitian serta pengabdian kepada masyarakat. Semua program studi pada Fakultas Tarbiyah dan Ilmu Keguruan di tahun 2026 memiliki kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat yang diselenggarakan oleh dosen dan mahasiswa sesuai dengan visi dan misi institusi yaitu menjadi universitas Islam bertaraf internasional dengan paradigma keilmuan teoantropoekosentris (al-ilahiyah al-insaniyah al-kauniyah) dalam membangun masyarakat yang saleh, moderat, cerdas, dan unggul. Di sekitar lingkungan kampus terdapat Mesjid Ar-Royhan Sihitang, ditemukan masalah yaitu banyak anak yang kesulitan dalam membaca, baik membaca teks latin maupun Al-Qur'an. Oleh karena itu perlu dilaksanakan kegiatan PKM untuk membangun masyarakat yang saleh, cerdas dan unggul melalui program FTIK Mengajar. Kegiatan Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat (PKM) ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan literasi dasar dan pemahaman keagamaan anak-anak usia sekolah dasar di Mesjid Ar-Royhan Sihitang, Kelurahan Sihitang, Kecamatan Padangsidimpuan Tenggara, Kota Padangsidimpuan. Program ini dilaksanakan dalam bentuk pengajaran mengaji dan bimbingan belajar membaca teks latin selama delapan pertemuan. Menggunakan metode Iqro', Qiroati, Tartil, dan bimbingan belajar langsung, program ini memberikan dampak positif yang signifikan terhadap peningkatan kemampuan membaca Al-Qur'an dan teks latin anak-anak. Selain itu, program ini juga berhasil membentuk karakter religius, meningkatkan disiplin, percaya diri, dan kebiasaan belajar yang lebih baik di kalangan peserta. Kegiatan ini berhasil mencapai tujuan yang diharapkan dan memberikan kontribusi dalam meningkatkan kualitas pendidikan agama dan literasi di masyarakat Sihitang.
