Abstract

This study aims to analyze the hedging policy in managing financing risks in Islamic banks in Indonesia. Given the crucial role of Islamic banks in the economy, efficient financing risk management is key to maintaining financial stability. The hedging policy implemented by Islamic banks can help mitigate risks arising from market fluctuations, credit risks, and operational risks. This research uses a quantitative approach with regression analysis to measure the impact of hedging instruments on non-performing financing (NPF) in Indonesian Islamic banks. The data includes annual reports from several Islamic banks registered with the Financial Services Authority (OJK) from 2018-2022. The results show that the hedging policy significantly reduces NPF. Hedging instruments such as wa'ad, tawarruq, and kafala were found to be effective in reducing market risk exposure and improving the quality of financing. However, the findings also reveal that smaller Islamic banks tend to face challenges in implementing complex hedging policies due to cost constraints and limited knowledge. This study recommends that smaller Islamic banks be provided with training and support to implement hedging policies more effectively, as well as the importance of developing simpler and more affordable hedging instruments

Abstract

This study examines the conditions of investment decisions, financing decisions, and firm value in manufacturing companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX). Furthermore, it investigates the influence of investment and financing decisions on firm value, both partially and simultaneously, in this sector. The research adopts a quantitative approach using a descriptive associative method. The findings reveal that investment decisions (CPA/BVA) and financing decisions (DER) significantly affect firm value (PBV) in the manufacturing sub-sector companies.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the strategies implemented by PT. Bank BTPN Syariah Tbk in addressing inflationary pressures and to evaluate the impact of the profit-sharing ratio on the accumulation of third-party funds (TPF). Inflation is often a significant challenge for the banking sector, particularly for Islamic banks that operate on a profit-sharing basis. This research employs a quantitative method with a regression analysis approach to examine the relationship between inflation, profit-sharing ratios, and TPF. The data used includes secondary data from financial reports and macroeconomic statistics over a specific period. The findings indicate that inflation has a significant relationship with TPF, where the profit-sharing ratio plays a critical role in maintaining stability and enhancing customer trust. Strategies such as adjusting profit-sharing ratios and innovating Sharia-compliant products have proven effective in mitigating the effects of inflation. This research is expected to contribute to the development of Islamic banking strategies to enhance competitiveness amid economic dynamics.

Abstract

The problems discussed in this research are 1) What is the influence of profit sharing on customer interest in choosing Muamalat Bank in Ciamis Regency. 2) How does religiosity influence customer interest in choosing Muamalat Bank in Ciamis Regency. 3) How does risk influence customer interest in choosing Muamalat Bank in Ciamis Regency? 4) How does the product influence customer interest in choosing Muamalat Bank in Ciamis Regency? The research method used in this research is survey research. Quantitative research methods are a type of research whose specifications are systematic, planned and clearly structured from the start until the creation of the research design. The research results show that Bank Muamalat Indonesia in Ciamis shows very good performance in various aspects, including profit sharing, religiosity, risk and products. However, several areas need to be improved, such as clarity of production sharing agreements, ensuring documents are prepared in simple and easy to understand language, and strengthening team collaborations.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the effect of service marketing mix performance and relationship marketing on Broadband Industry customer value in West Java through a survey to Broadband Industry customers in West Java. The research was conducted using quantitative methods. The unit of research analysis is Broadband Industry customers in the West Java region, so the population in this study is customers in the research area. Samples were taken as many as 100 respondents. The sampling technique used in this research is multistage random sampling. The data is processed using Partial Least Square (PLS). The results of this study reveal that service marketing mix performance and relationship marketing have an effect on increasing Broadband Industry customer value in West Java, but service marketing mix performance has a more dominant influence than relationship marketing. Relationship marketing has little effect on customer value creation. The findings of this study provide managerial implications for Broadband Industry management that efforts to improve sustainable marketing performance need to be encouraged to develop a service marketing mix performance that is able to increase customer value. The development of service marketing mix performance needs to be prioritized on the process aspect, which is supported by development on the aspects of people, product, promotion, price, place, and physical evidence.
