Abstract

Logic is a very important knowledge in all fields, for example law, mathematics, language, and computer science. In mathematics, logic plays a role in providing ways or methods or steps in proving a theorem. In computer science, logic is very important because it is the mathematical basis of software: logic is used to formalize the semantics of programming languages and program specifications, and to verify the correctness of programs. However, the weakness is that logic is generally not taught in the curriculum in Computer Science and of course this is a gap that must be overcome if we want to build quality alumni. The problem is that lecturers generally do not understand the basic concepts of logic and their applications in mathematical proof methods. To overcome this weakness, a beginner activity was held, namely training in basic logic concepts and their applications in mathematical proof methods. This community service activity was carried out using lecture and discussion methods and exercises attended by computer science lecturers and students.

Abstract

Marriage in Indonesia is legal only if both parties have reached the age of 19, according to Law No. 16 of 2019. Divorce often occurs in cases of early marriage, which can affect the future of the child. Therefore, efforts to prevent early marriage need to be made, especially at the most basic level, namely the family. The obligation to protect children from the threat of early marriage rests entirely on the shoulders of the family, the most basic social unit. Parents from the father or mother are discussed here. This study aims to examine various preventive measures and identify the role of parents in preventing early marriage. This study uses a qualitative strategy based on case study methodology to achieve this goal. The methods used are participant observation, in-depth interviews, and literature reviews. As a means of collecting information about the object being studied, observation requires careful observation or analysis of the surrounding environment. Interviews allow researchers to obtain data related to the topic through direct question and answer sessions with informants. The study relies on photo documentation as one of the real evidence. Parents in Cakul Village, Dongko District, Trenggalek Regency, can help reduce the number of early marriages by setting a good example, educating their children both formally and informally, providing advice and an overview of the lives of parents who marry young, setting time limits for going out of the house, regulating their circle of friends, communicating frequently and openly, giving children trust within reasonable limits, and instilling a sense of responsibility and discipline from an early age. Efforts like these can help parents in Cakul Village slow down the alarming increase in the number of underage brides each year in Indonesia.

Abstract

This study was conducted in Nation Star Academy Senior Secondary School or High School, Surabaya City, West Beautiful Dharmahusada Road VI No. 1 Mojo Gubeng District. Based on the type of data that has been researched, this study uses a qualitative approach with reference to previous studies. Data collection employed the methods of interviews, observation, literature study, as well as documentation. The study was analyzed qualitatively. Qualitative data analysis, which is inductive in nature, is an analysis based on the data or information obtained. Analysis consists of three simultaneously occurring activity streams namely: data reduction, data presentation, as well as conclusion drawing or commonly referred to as verification. The results of the study showed that, the implementation of curriculum policies in Nation Star Academy High School Surabaya can be analyzed through the three aspects of responsiveness put forward by Bloom: verbal, motor, and cognitive. Overall, despite encountering challenges in implementation, the curriculum policy has great potential to improve the quality of education at Nation Star Academy High School Surabaya. To support its success, improved coordination among teachers, ongoing training, periodic evaluation, as well as the development of educational resources that further support this policy-based learning process are needed.

Abstract

The background of this study is based on the rapid growth of e-commerce in Indonesia and the increasing use of Shopee in Bekasi City, which reached 25% in 2023. This research employs a quantitative approach by distributing questionnaires to Shopee consumers in Bekasi City. The study aims to examine the effect of promotion and price on consumer purchase intention in the Shopee application in Bekasi City. Since the population in Bekasi City is infinite, the sampling technique used the Lemeshow formula, resulting in a sample of 100 respondents. The research applied quantitative statistical methods with tests including data quality, classical assumption, hypothesis testing, and the coefficient of determination. The results of the study show that promotion has a significant partial effect on consumer purchase intention in the Shopee application in Bekasi City; therefore, Ho1 is rejected and Ha1 is accepted. Price also has a significant partial effect on consumer purchase intention in the Shopee application in Bekasi City; therefore, Ho2 is rejected and Ha2 is accepted. Furthermore, promotion and price simultaneously have a significant effect on consumer purchase intention in the Shopee application in Bekasi City; therefore, Ho3 is rejected and Ha3 is accepted.
