Abstract

Pasar bengkel souvenir center is a business venture in the food industry that trades several typical snacks and one of them is cassava processed products into several types of products such as kelanting, spicy cassava chips, garlic cassava chips, ebi cassava chips and various other products that make these products as souvenirs or gifts for visitors to the Pasar bengkel souvenir center. Product attributes or characteristics are certainly the most important factors that are the reasons for consumers to buy the product. In addition to appearance, taste is generally the main requirement that will be considered by consumers in order to consume the product continuously. In the culinary industry, consumer assessment is needed to determine the value or quality of the products traded. The purpose of this study is to determine what factors influence consumer buying interest in Kelanting/Selondok snacks. The analysis method used is multiple linear regression analysis, with the dependent variable being Purchase Interest, and the independent variables being Taste, Price, Packaging, and Trust. The results of the study showed that partially, the Taste and Trust variables had a significant effect, while simultaneously, all independent variables had a significant effect on the dependent buying interest.
