Abstract

This study aims to find out the first, to find out the level of student career planning when the career guidance program is in the independent learning curriculum, the second is whether there is a difference after being given a career guidance program in the independent learning curriculum. This research is a descriptive qualitative research. The subjects of this study included school principals, deputy principals for curriculum, vice principals for student affairs, counseling teachers and students at SMKN 3 Madiun. Data collection methods used are observation, interviews, and documentation. From the results of this study it can be seen First; The implementation of the counseling program at SMKN 3 Madiun is quite good. Judging from the implementation of information services where the teacher always provides information about the world of work and the industrial world, the counseling teacher always provides counseling services to their students through class hours determined by the classical service method, the counseling teacher is also ready to provide individual counseling services when there are students who experience problems. . Second; The implementation of the Merdeka Curriculum at SMKN 3 Madiun was carried out well. Judging from the curriculum program that has been implemented and compiled by several teachers, it is sufficient to facilitate the implementation of learning for teachers and streamline learning or material provided to students. Supporting factors for the implementation of student career planning are categorized as quite good, schools always support the implementation of student career planning by carrying out several activities such as EduFair or JobFair to determine student career plans whether they want to continue on to higher education or the world of work.

Abstract

This research aims to increase students' social interactions through the application of 3 Magic Words ("sorry," "please," "thank you") in group guidance using the sociodrama method. The research subjects were six class X APHP students at SMKN 3 Madiun in the odd semester 2024-2025. Using a Counseling Guidance Action Research  approach with qualitative descriptive methods, the research results show an increase in the use of 3 Magic Words after implementing sociodrama. In the first cycle, although students were still awkward, there was improvement. In the second cycle, more complex scenarios made the use of the 3 Magic Words more consistent, creating a more harmonious and collaborative classroom atmosphere. Sociodrama has proven to be effective in encouraging the use of the 3 Magic Words, which ultimately improves the quality of social interactions.

Abstract

Learning motivation is one of the things that needs to be considered in learning because there are still many who think that motivation is not that important to improve learning achievement. The aim of this research is to study the effect of symbolic modeling techniques in guidance and counseling services on increasing students' learning motivation. This technique is a method in guidance and counseling services that uses pictures, videos or other stories to help students understand the concept of learning motivation. This research uses a guidance and counseling action research approach which involves several cycles, namely planning, action, observation and reflection. The research subjects were class X TKI 1 students at SMK Negeri 3 Madiun with low learning motivation. Data was collected from observations, interviews and special questionnaires regarding learning motivation before and after the intervention.The research results showed that students learning motivation improved significantly after intervention with symbolic modeling techniques.
