Used pra experimental design with approach pre-posttest-in one group only, without control group design. The research subjects were all patients who sought treatment at the ER at RS ABL. The treatment used was 6C’s training for ER nurses at RS.ABL. Data were analysed using SPSS 24, the results of the paired sample t test found that there was an increase in the average patient satisfaction of 2.48 before and after the intervention with a p-value of 0.015<0.05 and there was an increase in the quality of 6C’s services regarding patient satisfaction, each item namely compassion, competence, confidence, conscience, commitment and comfort each increased significantly with a p value of 0.000<0.05 on patient satisfaction. the results of the linear regression test found that there was an influence of the characteristics of emergency room nurses and the quality of the 6C’s services on the satisfaction of emergency room patients at ABL Hospital. The results of the multivariate linear regression analysis showed that the significant variable (p-value: 0.05) was gender with a p-value of 0.002<0,05, compassion with a p-value of 0.032<0.05, Confidence with a p-value of 0.044<0.05, and Conscience with a p-value of 0.025<0.05. It was concluded that there was an influence of the 6 C's of emergency room nurses' training on the satisfaction of emergency room patients at ABL Hospital.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the complex role of nurses in nursing services that require periodic refreshments to maintain motivation in providing attentive services. In this context, SFIC (Sisters of the Franciscan of the Immaculate Conception) spiritual accompaniment is relevant because it can uplift, motivate, and remind nurses of the vocation and meaning of their profession. This study aims to determine the effect of SFIC spiritual assistance on nurses' work motivation and caring behavior in the inpatient unit. The research method used is Quasi-Experimental Control Group Pretest Posttest Design. Control and intervention groups were determined using total sampling. Data analysis was conducted using the Paired T-test and Independent T-test, with results showing significant differences between the intervention and control groups in nurses' work motivation and caring behavior after receiving SFIC spiritual assistance. The results showed significant differences between the intervention and control groups in work motivation (p = 0.001) and caring behavior of nurses (p = 0.0001) after receiving SFIC spiritual assistance. This is also supported by the ANCOVA test results, which show a significant effect of intervention methods on increasing nurses' work motivation and caring behavior after controlling for confounding variables. This study implies that spirituality can motivate and improve nurses' caring behavior when providing nursing services. As a suggestion, spiritual assistance can be used as one of the activities in the hospital training program to strengthen motivation and the quality of nurse services.

Abstract

The nursing service is essential to hospital patient recovery. It also shows the hospital's healthcare performance. This study examines how nursing quality affects word-of-mouth communication among RS X Bandar Lampung hospitalized patients in 2023. A true Experimental Design with a posttest-only control group was adopted. The sample included 80 people, divided equally into 40 intervention and 40 control groups. The control and intervention groups showed significant differences in service quality, including empathy, tangibility, assurance, reliability, and responsiveness (p-value = 0.000 < 0.05). Significant differences in word-of-mouth communication were seen between the control and intervention groups (p-value = 0.000 < 0.05). The simple linear regression test significantly impacted empathic nursing service quality (p-value < 0.05). The quality of tangible nursing services was also affected (p-value < 0.05). The quality of nurse service assurance also had an impact (p-value < 0.05). Nurse attentiveness impacted word-of-mouth communication in control and intervention group patients (p < 0.000 < 0.05). Nursed service reliability impacted word-of-mouth communication in treatment and control groups (p-value = 0.004 < 0.085). The management of X Hospital Bandar Lampung must constantly teach nurses about nursing service quality. They should also assess training success by measuring nurse service quality with patient surveys and questionnaires.
