Abstract

This study began with problems in learning basketball games for class X students of SMAN 7 Kediri. It was found that the level of accuracy of throwing the ball into the basketball hoop was still low, which was caused by the lack of motivation and seriousness of students in participating in learning. The purpose of this study was to improve the accuracy of throwing the ball into the basketball hoop and to increase the motivation and seriousness of students in learning through a combination of target games. This study is a Classroom Action Research (CAR) which was carried out collaboratively and participatory. The subjects of the study consisted of 36 class X-3 students of SMAN 7 Kediri, with 18 male students and 18 female students. The data obtained were analyzed using quantitative and qualitative descriptive techniques. The results of the study showed that the combination of target games can improve the results of the accuracy of throwing the ball into the basketball hoop and increase the motivation and seriousness of students in learning. This can be seen from the increase in student motivation and seriousness as well as the increase in the results of the accuracy of throwing the ball / shooting into the basketball hoop so that the completion reached 94.3% in the second cycle.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of push-up training on improving shot put performance among 11th-grade students at SMAN 7 Kediri. Shot put is an athletic sport that requires a combination of arm muscle strength, proper technique, and explosive power to achieve optimal results. Push-up training was chosen as it is a simple yet effective method for enhancing arm muscle strength, which is a key factor in shot put performance.The research method used in this study is Classroom Action Research (CAR) following the Kemmis and McTaggart model. The study was conducted in several cycles, each consisting of planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. The research design included pre-test and post-test assessments to measure the effectiveness of push-up training on shot put performance. Data analysis was carried out using the Shapiro-Wilk normality test and the Paired Sample t-Test.The results showed that the pre-test and post-test data were normally distributed. The t-test indicated a significant improvement in shot put performance after push-up training. The average pre-test score of 61.56 increased to 72.50 in the post-test, with a mean difference of 10.94 points. These findings suggest that push-up training positively influences arm muscle strength and shot put performance.

Abstract

This study aims to improve the learning of volleyball underhand passing through the poison ball game method in class XI-3 students of XI-3 SMAN 7 Kediri in 2025. This research is a Classroom Action Research (PTK) which consists of two cycles, each cycle consisting of 2 meetings. The subjects of this study were 32 students in class XI-3 SMAN 7 Kota Kediri. The instrument used for data collection in this study was the bottom passing assessment sheet, Based on the results of observations, discussion and research results, it can be concluded that learning to pass down through the poison ball game method in class XI-3 SMAN 7 Kota Kediri for 2 cycles can improve student achievement. This can be proven from the results of observing the student learning outcomes of 32 students. In the initial conditions, the number of students who achieved a KKM score of 80 was only 6 to 7, and in the first cycle it increased to 15 students, then in cycle II, it increased to 29 students who achieved the KKM score. 80 or more. So that the classical completeness in the class is more than 75% of students who have finished studying.
