<![CDATA[This research is based on students' listening skills that are not optimal and traditional learning. In this study, the research and development method (Research and Development) was applied using the ADDIE development model which includes the Analyze, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation stages. This study aims to: 1.) Know the procedure for developing hand puppet teaching media to train listening skills, 2.) Determine the feasibility of developing hand puppet teaching media to train listening skills, 3.) Knowing the response of teachers and students to the development of hand puppet teaching media to train listening skills. The sample of this study was 22 students in grade IIIA. Data collection techniques include: expert validation results, questionnaires, tests, and analysis techniques to improve listening skills using the N-Gain Score. The results of this study show that: 1.) the researcher produced a teaching medium for hand puppets to train listening skills in Indonesian subjects. 2.) The hand puppet teaching media that was developed was determined to be suitable for use as a medium in practicing listening skills. Based on the validation results (media experts) obtained 92%, (material experts) obtained 98%, (linguists) obtained 98%. The overall validation results were obtained on average of 96%. 3.) The teacher's response to the development of hand puppet teaching media obtained a percentage of 100% with the category "Very Feasible". Meanwhile, student responses got a percentage of 98% with the category "Very Feasible". The teaching media of hand puppets has been proven to be effective in practicing listening skills through the N-Gain Score, obtained the average results of listening skills training reaching 0.7563 or 75.6 which is included in the Effective category.]]>
