Abstract

The purpose of this study is to find out the role of Catholic husband and wife in domestic welfare and to analyze the causative factors of the role of Catholic husband and wife in household welfare at St. John's Station. Peter was stunned. The role of husband and wife in marriage is very important to understand. Each couple has different responsibilities, such as taking care of the house, supporting each other emotionally, and managing finances. Human life in this day and age experiences various challenges related to customary, economic, and faith factors that affect family welfare. The method used in this study is a qualitative descriptive method, using data collection techniques in the form of observation, interviews, and documentation. The research was carried out from February to May 2025. The results of this study found that there was no openness between married couples. There are couples who argue that, in order to avoid ongoing conflict, effective communication is needed, so that the couple is more open to what they feel about the truth from their own point of view, approval and support.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to find out the understanding of communication and analyze the factors that affect the communication of husband and wife at Sta. Elisabeth Lewokung Station, to find out efforts to strengthen emotional support in building harmony at Sta. Elisabeth Lewokung Station, and to find out the efforts of husband and wife harmony in Sta. Elisabeth Lewokung Station. In this modern era, the challenges and dynamics of life are increasingly complex, strengthening emotional support through effective communication is of paramount importance. The method used in this study is a qualitative descriptive method, using data collection techniques in the form of observation, interviews, and documentation. The research was carried out from February to May 2025. The results of this study found that communication between husbands and wives at Sta. Elisabeth Lewokung Stasi in the family became less intense as a result of the emergence of conflicts in the family, thus causing disharmony in the relationship between husband and wife. Conflicts that arise in the family are caused by economic factors, which cause a loss of trust between each partner in the family as a result of a lack of openness, empathy and lack of support from one party in the family. In addition, there is a lack of mutual understanding, mutual acceptance of reality, and self-adjustment between married couples at Stasi Sta Elisabeth Lewokung.

Abstract

SEKAMI activities are an important mission in maturing children's faith through the packaging of spiritual activities in the current era of digitalization. Through this activity, of course, it will bring children's faith closer to God in accordance with the teachings of the Catholic Church. However, problems are still found in the parishes.  One of them in Lewotala Parish was found that many children have not been actively involved in activities both in joint prayer activities, as well as liturgical activities such as Eucharistic celebrations on Sundays. Therefore, the purpose of this study is to find out and describe the role of SEKAMI in forming Communal Spirituality in the Digital Era for the Alpha Generation. The method used is a type of qualitative research with a descriptive approach. Interview data collection techniques, observations, and documentation. The subjects in this study were 9 informants. The results found that SEKAMI plays an important role in shaping the spirituality of the alpha generation in the digital era. Through spiritual and social activities, children are taught Christian values, concern for others, and the spirit of brotherhood. SEKAMI must continue to be a forum for fostering faith and teaching Christian values, as well as encouraging children to live the spirit of 2D2K (Prayer, Donation, Sacrifice, and Testimony). Thus, SEKAMI children can grow in faith and become witnesses of Jesus Christ, as well as use technology positively.

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pemahaman komunikasi dan menganalisis faktor yang mempengaruhi komunikasi suami isteri di Stasi Sta. Elisabeth Lewokung , untuk mengetahui upaya penguatan dukungan emosional dalam membangun keharmonisan di Stasi Sta. Elisabeth Lewokung, dan untuk mengetahui upaya keharmonisan suami istri yang ada di Stasi Sta. Elisabeth Lewokung. Dalam era modern ini, tantangan dan dinamika kehidupan semakin kompleks, penguatan dukungan emosional melalui komunikasi yang efektif menjadi sangat penting. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode deskriptif kualitatif, dengan menggunakan teknik pengumpulan data berupa observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Penelitian dilaksanakan dari Februari sampai Mei 2025. Hasil penelitian ini menemukan bahwa komunikasi antara suami dan istri yang ada di Stasi Sta. Elisabeth Lewokung dalam keluarga menjadi kurang intens akibat dari munculnya konflik-konflik dalam keluarga, sehingga menyebabkan ketidakharmonisan hubungan antar suami dan istri. Konflik yang muncul dalam keluarga disebabkan oleh faktor ekonomi, yang menimbulkan hilangnya kepercayaan diantara masing-masing pasangan dalam keluarga sebagai akibat dari kurangnya sikap keterbukaan, sikap empati dan kurang mendukung dari salah satu pihak dalam keluarga. Selain itu, kurang adanya rasa saling pengertian, saling menerima kenyataan, dan  penyesuaian diri antar pasangan suami istri di Stasi Sta Elisabeth Lewokung

Abstract

Abstract: This community service activity was conducted at St. Ignatius Waibalun Parish by lecturers of STP Reinha Larantuka in collaboration with the parish pastoral team. The activity was motivated by the low level of theological understanding among Catholic couples regarding the sacrament of marriage, which is often perceived merely as an emotional and social union. The purpose of this activity was to prepare prospective Catholic couples to understand the meaning, purpose, and essential nature of Catholic marriage, as well as the responsibilities of faith in family life. The implementation method was carried out through a Marriage Preparation program consisting of three main stages: introduction to Church teachings on marriage, faith reflection, and practical accompaniment. A total of 15 engaged couples actively participated in the program through interactive lectures, group discussions, couple communication simulations, and personal reflection. Evaluation was conducted descriptively through observation and interviews to assess improvements in participants’ understanding and spiritual readiness. The results showed an increase in theological and spiritual understanding by 41.7%, greater awareness of sacramental fidelity, and 85% spiritual readiness to receive the sacrament of marriage. This program had a positive impact on the spiritual and psychological readiness of participants, while strengthening their commitment to living family life according to Church teachings. The activity is expected to serve as a sustainable model for family pastoral ministry in the parish.Abstrak: Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini dilaksanakan di Paroki St. Ignasius Waibalun oleh dosen STP Reinha Larantuka bersama tim pastoral paroki. Kegiatan ini dilatarbelakangi oleh rendahnya pemahaman teologis calon pasangan Katolik tentang sakramen perkawinan yang masih dipandang sebatas ikatan emosional dan sosial. Tujuan kegiatan ini adalah mempersiapkan calon pasangan agar memahami makna, tujuan, dan sifat dasar perkawinan Katolik serta tanggung jawab iman dalam kehidupan keluarga. Metode pelaksanaan dilakukan melalui pembinaan Persiapan Perkawinan yang terdiri atas tiga tahap utama, yaitu pengenalan ajaran Gereja tentang perkawinan, refleksi iman, dan pendampingan praktis. Sebanyak 15 pasangan calon suami istri mengikuti kegiatan secara aktif melalui ceramah interaktif, diskusi kelompok, simulasi komunikasi pasangan, dan refleksi pribadi. Evaluasi dilaksanakan secara deskriptif melalui observasi dan wawancara untuk menilai peningkatan pemahaman, dan kesiapan rohani peserta. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan peningkatan pemahaman teologis dan spiritual sebesar 41,7%, kesadaran akan kesetiaan sakramental, serta kesiapan rohani 85% dalam menerima sakramen perkawinan. Program ini berdampak positif terhadap kesiapan rohani dan psikologis peserta dalam menerima sakramen perkawinan, sekaligus memperkuat komitmen mereka untuk hidup berkeluarga sesuai ajaran Gereja. Kegiatan ini diharapkan menjadi model pembinaan berkelanjutan bagi pelayanan pastoral keluarga di paroki

Abstract

Community Service Activities were carried out at Santa Theresia Loang Station. This activity was carried out because nowadays in their daily lives, children are less likely to share with friends who need help, prefer playing online games to interacting with others, are not involved in spiritual activities, like to use bad words, like to fight with friends. As a result, the ability to show solidarity by working together, sharing, and caring for others is reduced. The purpose of this activity is to increase children's solidarity through our mentoring activities. This activity was attended by 20 children from our group who are active at the Loang station. The mentoring method used in this activity is participatory mentoring by being directly involved with the children from our group. This Community Service Activity was carried out for 3 months, namely from August to October 2025. This activity was carried out every Saturday afternoon at 16.00 and Sunday after the Eucharist celebration. The result of this activity is that after participating in the Sekami mentoring activities, the children of Sekami Stasi Santa Theresia Loang are increasingly aware of the importance of a sense of brotherhood, togetherness, sharing, and supporting each other both between groups and between individuals, both through words.
