Abstract

Abstrak. Penanganan material secara manual masih terjadi dipabrik beras Hegarmanah yang berlokasi di Kabupaten Sumedang Jawa Barat. Permasalahan yang terjadi adanya keterlambatan proses penggilingan beras yang disebabkan kecelakaan kerja kecelakaan tersebut disebabkan karena kegiatan pengangkutan karung gabah yang dilakukan secara manual dengan berat mencapai 50 kg dipindahkan dari truk menuju gudang bawah dan dari gudang bawah menuju gudang atas. Frekuensi setiap pekerja melakukan pengangkutan sebanyak 16 kali. Metode dengan menggunakan kuesioner Nordic Body Map (NBM) digunakan untuk mengidentifikasi tingkat dan keluhan rasa sakit yang dialami oleh pekerja. Penilaian risiko kerja menggunakan Key Indicator Methods with respect to manual lifting, holding, carrying of loads (KIM-LHC) dan Key Indicator Method with respect to Body Movement (KIM-BM). Hasil penilaian risiko kerja menunjukan intensitas beban tinggi artinya membutuhkan tindakan pencegahan dengan melakukan desain ulang tempat kerja atau penambahan alat bantu kerja. Perancangan fasilitas kerja yang diusulkan berupa troli hidrolik dan bucket elevator. Perancangan disimulasikan menggunakan software CATIA dan menunjukan intensitas beban sedikit meningkat dan rendah. Abstract. Manual material handling still occurs at the Hegarmanah rice mill located in Sumedang Regency, West Java. The issues encountered include delays in the rice milling process caused by workplace accidents. These accidents are attributed to the manual transportation of rice sacks weighing up to 50 kg, which are moved from trucks to the lower warehouse and from the lower warehouse to the upper warehouse. Each worker performs the transport task 16 times per shift. The Nordic Body Map (NBM) questionnaire method is used to identify the level and type of pain complaints experienced by workers. Work risk assessment employs the Key Indicator Method for manual lifting, holding, and carrying of loads (KIM-LHC) and the Key Indicator Method for Body Movement (KIM-BM). The results of the work risk assessment indicate high load intensity, highlighting the need for preventive measures such as redesigning the workplace or adding work aids. The proposed workplace facilities include a hydraulic trolley and a bucket elevator. The design simulation, conducted using CATIA software, demonstrates that load intensity slightly increases but remains low.
