Abstract

This research aims to produce learning trajectory by using discovery learning model on arithmetic sequence material. Researchers used the design research method which has three stages, namely preliminary design, design experiment, and retrospective analysis. This research was conducted at SMA Al Bidayah Batujajar on class X-1 students consisting of 20 students. Based on the results of the research, a learning trajectory was obtained that could help students understand the concept of arithmetic sequence consisting of activities to understand number patterns, identify differences and nth terms, discover the concept of arithmetic sequence, and apply the concept of arithmetic sequence in real life. The results of the learning experiment using the discovery learning model can help students improve their understanding of the concept of arithmetic sequence.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the relationship between numeracy literacy skills and self-efficacy of private junior high school students in Bandung City, namely SMP Muhammadiyah 6. This study uses multivariate correlation method with a sample of 10 students with random sampling technique. The instruments used in this research are numeracy literacy test and self-efficacy questionnaire. The data were processed by descriptive and inferential quantitative methods. The results showed that students' numeracy literacy skills from the test results and questionnaire results showed no influence between the two variables. The conclusion of this study is that students who have low or high numeracy literacy skills have no influence on self-efficacy, this is based on the results of student questionnaires.
