Abstract

Artikel ini membahas mengenai Madiara dalam Perspektif Jemaat GMIM Haleluya Kayuuwi. Metodologi penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode kualitatif yang dijabarkan secara deskriptif. Metode penelitian deskriptif adalah metode yang dilakukan untuk mengetahui gambaran, keadaan, suatu hal dengan cara mendeskripsikannya sedetail mungkin berdasarkan fakta yang ada. Dahulu Sebagian besar masyarakat desa kayuuwi banyak yang sangat mempercayai hal-hal yang berkaitan dengan ritus, sehingga jika ada warga yang mati mendadak, sakit berkepanjangan ataupun menghilang di perkebunan maka masyarakat percaya orang tersebut di guna-guna, hal tersebut didasari rasa benci iri dengki kepada orang tersebut. Artikel ini ingin memeriksa perspektif dari setiap anggota jemaat tentang pemahaman mereka mengenai Madiara dan kaitannya dengan kehidupan bergereja.

Abstract

The socio-cultural, religious, and political plurality in the life of the people of Tomohon city is a blessing that must be thanked and an opportunity to strengthen the bond of harmony. The Islamic-Christian communities in Java, Tomohon and Tumatangtang I villages are a clear proof that people can coexist. This article is prepared using qualitative research in order to review what the conditions are in the research site, as well as take the data needed to conduct analysis. To be able to get to know and understand each other between these two religious communities, a forum is needed, namely a communication forum that can send religious adherents to build a dialogue. The pattern of dialogue created in community life aims to build a relationship and help religious believers to be more familiar.

Abstract

This article discusses how Mapalus can be a model of Christian-Islamic solidarity relations in Tombatu Dua and Tombatu Tiga Tengah Villages. The relationship between Christianity and Islam within the scope of the Christian majority has its own uniqueness that can be found. The research was conducted using a qualitative method with a phenomenological approach combined with anthropology. Phenomenological research combined with anthropology is carried out using a phenomenological framework as a research approach and anthropology as a discipline that studies humans and their cultures. By focusing on cooperation and respect for each other, Mapalus provides inspiration on how to foster brotherhood between religious communities. Mapalus culture is a capital of solidarity between religious communities because it embodies the principles of diversity, togetherness, and tolerance.
