Abstract

The playwright, like an actor, loses the fate of the characters on himself, lives their conflicts. This is not about the methods of creating the play, there are various ways, but about the essence of the structural relations of the drama. The communication of the author with the viewer - reader remains dramatic in nature. Of course, the immediacy of stage relations in the literary version is reproduced indirectly, metaphorically, and this in its own way affects the movement of dramatic forms.

Abstract

This article discusses the history of the development of irony in world literature, the factors of its formation, functions and place, application in various disciplines. One by one, the main approaches to the study of irony are explained. Irony has been proven as an indirect motivational tool for changing an outdated value system.

Abstract

This article discusses seven features of irony, two main socio-psychological factors contributing to its intensification. Theoretically, further development of the textual category of irony as an integral part of the author's modality is revealed. It is proved that irony is a multi-level ontological and epistemological phenomenon.
