Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh lingkungan kerja fisik terhadap kepuasan kerja pegawai di Puskesmas Rappang Kecamatan Panca Rijang Kabupaten Sidenreng Rappang. Lingkungan kerja fisik yang dimaksud meliputi aspek pencahayaan, suhu udara dan ventilasi, kebisingan, kebersihan dan keamanan, serta tata ruang dan dekorasi.”Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh pentingnya kenyamanan lingkungan kerja dalam meningkatkan semangat dan produktivitas kerja pegawai, yang pada akhirnya berdampak pada kepuasan kerja.Metode yang digunakan adalah pendekatan kuantitatif dengan tipe penelitian asosiatif. Data dikumpulkan melalui kuesioner terhadap 56 responden yang diambil menggunakan teknik random sampling dari populasi sebanyak 125 pegawai. Analisis data dilakukan dengan uji validitas, reliabilitas, regresi linear sederhana, dan uji hipotesis menggunakan bantuan aplikasi SPSS 21.0.Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa lingkungan kerja fisik berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kepuasan kerja pegawai. Sebagian besar responden menilai kondisi pencahayaan, ventilasi, dan kebersihan dalam kategori baik hingga sangat baik.Analisis statistik membuktikan bahwa variabel lingkungan kerja fisik memiliki hubungan positif terhadap variabel kepuasan kerja.Dengan demikian, perbaikan dan pemeliharaan lingkungan kerja fisik di Puskesmas Rappang dapat dijadikan salah satu strategi dalam meningkatkan kepuasan dan kinerja pegawai.  This study aims to examine the influence of the physical work environment on employee job satisfaction at Puskesmas Rappang, Panca Rijang Subdistrict, Sidenreng Rappang Regency.The physical work environment in question includes aspects such as lighting, air temperature and ventilation, noise, cleanliness and safety, as well as workspace layout and decoration. The background of this study is based on the importance of a comfortable work environment in enhancing employee morale and productivity, which ultimately affects job satisfaction.The method used is a quantitative approach with an associative research type. Data were collected through questionnaires distributed to 56 respondents selected using random sampling from a population of 125 employees. The data were analyzed using validity and reliability tests, simple linear regression, and hypothesis testing with the help of SPSS 21.0 software.The results show that the physical work environment has a significant effect on employee job satisfaction.Most respondents rated the lighting, ventilation, and cleanliness conditions as good to very good. Statistical analysis confirmed that the physical work environment variable has a positive relationship with the job satisfaction variable.Therefore, improving and maintaining the physical work environment at Puskesmas Rappang can serve as a strategic effort to enhance employee satisfaction and performance.
