Abstract

This research aims to analyze the role of Resources Management (MSDI) in improving the performance of Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (UMKM) in Limboto District. MSDI, as an advanced development of Human Resources Management (HRM), adopts a more holistic and humanistic approach, focusing on employee empowerment and comprehensive development. This study uses qualitative methods, including in-depth interviews with UMKM owners and employees, along with relevant secondary data analysis, to identify key factors that influence MSDI management and UMKM performance. The findings highlight the importance of structured MSDI management in improving service quality, customer satisfaction, and operational productivity. It was found that areas such as employee training, technology integration, and employee involvement in decision-making are critical to the performance improvement of UMKM. The research also discusses the challenges faced by UMKM in Limboto, including financial constraints and the lack of training and technology adoption. The study suggests that effective MSDI management, focusing on employee development and the integration of appropriate technologies, can create a more productive and competitive environment for UMKM.

Abstract

Abstract:This research aims to examine the financial management practices of Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in rural areas, specifically in Botumoito District, Boalemo Regency, Gorontalo Province, and their impact on business sustainability. MSMEs in rural areas face major challenges such as limited resources, access to formal financial services, and low financial literacy. This study employs a qualitative approach with a case study to explore these factors and their effects. The findings reveal that limited access to financial services and low understanding of financial management pose significant barriers. The use of digital technology can enhance efficiency and transparency, although challenges in its implementation remain. The study recommends improving financial literacy and leveraging technology to support the sustainability of rural MSMEs.Keywords: : MSMEs, Financial Management, Business Sustainability, Financial Literacy.Abstrak:Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji praktik manajemen keuangan UMKM di pedesaan, khususnya di Kecamatan Botumoito, Kabupaten Boalemo, Provinsi Gorontalo, serta dampaknya terhadap keberlanjutan usaha. UMKM di pedesaan menghadapi tantangan utama seperti keterbatasan sumber daya, akses keuangan formal, dan rendahnya literasi keuangan. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan studi kasus untuk menggali faktor-faktor tersebut dan dampaknya. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa keterbatasan akses keuangan dan pemahaman pengelolaan keuangan yang rendah menjadi hambatan besar. Penggunaan teknologi digital dapat meningkatkan efisiensi dan transparansi, meskipun ada tantangan dalam penerapannya. Penelitian ini menyarankan peningkatan literasi keuangan dan pemanfaatan teknologi untuk mendukung keberlanjutan UMKM pedesaanKata Kunci: UMKM, manajemen keuangan, Keberlanjutan Usaha, Literasi Keuangan.
