Abstract

Permasalahan yang akan dikaji dalam penelitian ini bagaimana wacana dikembangkan dalam berita online bertema Money Laundry atau Pencucian Uang Pejabat. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguraikan struktur teks (struktur makro dan struktur mikro, kognisi sosial, dan konteks sosial pada wacana berita online). Metode yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kualitatif dengan analisis wacana kritis model Van Dijk dengan teknik pengumpulan data baca dan tulis. Dua strategi yang dilakukan saat menganalisis data kajian yaitu mengidentifikasi, mengklarifikasi, dan menginterpretasi data. Peneliti menganalisis dua wacana berita yang sedang tranding, kasus Gazalba Saleh dan Rafael Alun. Berdasarkan hasil temuan dari penelitian ini diketahui bahwa kedua teks tersebut menggambarkan keterlibatan beberapa elemen wacana, yakni aspek semantik, aspek sintaksis, dan stilistika leksikon. Sehingga penjabaran kajian analisis wacana kritis pertama dan kedua dilihat dari ketiga struktur wacana model Van Dijk beserta elemennya berkenaan dengan teks kasus Gazalba Saleh dan Rafael Alun tema tersebut digambarkan untuk situasi dan survei terkait penyalahgunaan jabatan dan pencucian uang. Namun dari keseluran wacana yang dianalisis secara kritis pada kedua teks berita online tersebut maka dialek pada berita itu berhubungan dengan kognisi sosial digunakan untuk mempengaruhi dan menekankan hal-hal penyalahgunaan jabatan dan pencucian uang pada masyarakat

Abstract

Writing ability is one of the basic competencies in Indonesian language learning that students must master. This skill is important as part of the learning process and as a means of developing thought patterns, creativity, and the ability to convey ideas logically and systematically. Among the various forms of text taught at the junior high school level, news text requires students to understand the structure of presenting factual information, use objective language, and follow journalistic rules. This study aims to determine the effect of the PjBL and TTW learning models on news text writing skills. This research is quantitative with an experimental method. The population in this study were all 96 seventh-grade students of SMPN 9 Bontang in the 2023/2024 academic year. The sample selection in this study used a purposive sampling technique and selected 64 students from class VII-B and class VII-C. Data analysis techniques used were the Kolmogorov-Smirnov test (normality), the Bartlett test (homogeneity) and for hypothesis testing using the t-test. Based on the results of data analysis techniques, it is known that the percentage of students' success with the implementation of PjBL in achieving the criteria for learning objectives is 54% and students with the implementation of TTW is only 46%. There is an influence of the PjBL and TTW learning models on the ability to write news texts.

Abstract

In this study, ethnolinguistics investigates the relationship between the pantun language and the Berau people or people who do not yet have writing. Pantun is one of Indonesia's cultural heritages and is a unique identity for its people. Pantun is part of the nature of Indonesian people's lives which of course can be used as learning. This qualitative descriptive research aims to describe and explore the Berau language rhymes used in courtship. The ethnolinguistic approach is supported by socio-cultural values in the form of linguistic and life characteristics which are reflected in words, signs or symbols. Therefore, ethnolinguistics plays an important role in this research, not only in determining and relating the use of language and the meaning of the pantun itself, but also in understanding the culture. This research obtains the results of examining the language of the text in the rhymes and explaining the Berau language rhymes in the Banua Adat Pinangan/Balamaran with strings of words that have aspects of cultural, religious and social values. The Banua (Berau) traditional proposal/Balamaran has a sacred meaning, especially in the verses of the Berau language pantun as a literary work of high artistic value. The symbolic values contained in the pantun are religious values, customary customs, ethical/moral values, and social values. In traditional ceremonies, rhymes of advice are usually included in talks or conversations.
