Abstract

Beberapa kajian terdahulu tentang pelabelan graceful titik telah banyak dilakukan. Penelitian ini merupakan lanjutan dari penelitian sebelumnya, adapun tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menentukan pelabelan graceful titik pada graf-(7,8). Graf-(7,8) merupakan graf dengan 7 titik dan 8 sisi. Penelitian ini dibatasi pada graf sederhana terhubung dan berhingga. Jenis  penelitian  ini adalah penelitian deskriptif kualitatif, teknik yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah penelitian kepustakaan dan teknik analisis data yang dipakai yaitu teknik analisis data non statistik. Dalam kajian ini, akan ditunjukkan bahwa dari 16 graf-(7,8) yang tidak isomorfik, semuanya merupakan pelabelan graceful titik dengan rincian pada graf M1 terdapat 48 graf; M2 terdapat 16 graf; M3 terdapat 20 graf; M4 terdapat 20 graf; M5 terdapat 32 graf; M6 terdapat 24 graf; M7 terdapat 28 graf; M8 terdapat 8 graf; M9 terdapat 40 graf; M10 terdapat 48 graf; M11 terdapat 24 graf; M12 terdapat 64 graf; M13 terdapat 32 graf; M14 terdapat 16 graf; M15 terdapat 16 graf; M16 terdapat 20 graf.

Abstract

The aim of this study is to describe the level of motivation to learn mathematics among Year 8 pupils at SMPN 29 Padang in the 2024/2025 academic year. This study employed a quantitative descriptive approach with a sample comprising all Year 8 students. Data collection was conducted through the distribution of a mathematics learning motivation questionnaire designed based on indicators of intrinsic and extrinsic motivation, supplemented by documentation as supporting data. The data obtained were analysed using descriptive analysis techniques, calculating the percentage for each motivation indicator to determine the category of students’ learning motivation levels. The results of the analysis indicate that students’ motivation to learn mathematics falls into the high category, with a percentage of 67.55%. The difference in percentages between the intrinsic and extrinsic motivation indicators was not particularly significant, indicating that the influence of internal and environmental factors on students’ learning motivation was relatively balanced. An increase in both types of motivation has the potential to drive mathematics learning motivation into a higher category, thereby having a positive impact on learning outcomes and students’ interest in mathematics learning.
