Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pelaksanaan konseling behavioral di sekolah, menganalisis kondisi minat membaca siswa, menghasilkana model dan menemukan keefektifan model. Metode penelitian menggunakan Research and Development (R&D). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa (1) pelaksanaan konseling behavioral sudah terlaksana di SMAN Kota Tasikmalaya, namun dalam pelaksanaannya masih belum efektif, dikarenakan kurangnya wawasan dan keterampilan guru BK terutama dalam menggunakan teknik- teknik dalam konseling; (2) kondisi minat membaca siswa sebelum diberikannya perlakuan menunjukan pada kategori kurang sedangkan setelah diberi perlakuan berubah menjadi sedang; (3) model yang dihasilkan diperoleh melalui validasi pakar dan praktisi yaitu berupa model konseling behavioral menggunakan teknik kontrak perilaku dengan students’ logbook yang memiliki aspek kemanfaatan, keakuratan dan kemenarikan untuk meningkatkan minat membaca siswa; (4) model konseling behavioral menggunakan teknik kontrak perilaku dengan students’ logbook terbukti efektif untuk meningkatkan minat membaca siswa.The purpose of the research is to analyze the implantation of behavioral counseling in schools, the condition of students’ reading interest, produce models and found the level of effectiveness of the model. Type of this research method is Research and Development (R & D). The result of the research showed that (1) implementation of behavioral counseling has been implemented et a high school in the town of Tasikmalaya, but in practice not been effective, due to a lack of knowledge and skills of counselor especially in using the techniques in counseling; (2) the condition of students’ reading interests before the treatment with model given to show the poor but after being given treatment into middle category; (3) the resulting model obtained through validation by experts and practitioners that is behavioral counseling models using techniques behavior contract with the students’ logbook that have the aspect of usefulness, accuracy and independence to students’ improve interest in reading; (4) behavioral counseling models using techniques behavior contract with the students’ logbook proven effective to students’ improve interest in reading.

Abstract

Abstract:Participation in learning is used as a means to create effective learning to achieve learning success. Likewise, with online learning, participation has an important position that students must have. The form of learning participation can be realized in visual, oral, listening, writing and mental activities. The purpose of the study was to determine the level of student participation in online learning during the Covid-19 pandemic. The research population was all students in East Priangan, and the sample selected was 85 students who live in East Priangan. The research method used was survey research with a quantitative approach and data collection techniques through distributing questionnaires to the sample consisting of 85 students and indirect interviews. The research results indicated that online learning during the Covid-19 pandemic could be an effective way to be implemented, although, in practice, there were still some technical and non-technical obstacles.Abstrak:Partisipasi dalam pembelajaran digunakan sebagai sarana untuk menciptakan pembelajaran yang efektif guna mencapai keberhasilan belajar. Begitupun dengan pembelajaran online, partisipasi memiliki posisi penting yang harus dimiliki mahasiswa. Bentuk partisipasi belajar dapat diwujudkan dalam aktivitas visual, oral, menyimak, menulis dan mental.  Tujuan penelitian adalah untuk mengetahui tingkat partisipasi mahasiswa dalam perkuliahan online di masa pandemi Covid-19.  Populasi penelitiannya adalah seluruh mahasiswa yang ada di Priangan Timur, dengan sampel yang digunakan yaitu 85 mahasiswa yang berdomisili di Priangan Timur. Adapun metode penelitiannya menggunakan penelitian survei dengan pendekatan kuantitatif dan teknik pengumpulan datanya melalui penyebaran kuisioner kepada sample yang terdiri dari 85 mahasiswa dan wawancara tidak langsung. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa perkuliahan online di masa pademi Covid-19 dapat dikatakan sebagai cara yang efektif untuk dilaksanakan, meskipun dalam pelaksanaannya masih ditemui adanya beberapa kendala baik teknis maupun non teknis.

Abstract

This study aims to describe consulting services through parental mediation strategies as an effort to improve students’ digital literacy. This is achieved through the library method by reading relevant data sources related to the themes of consulting services, parental mediation, and digital literacy. The information obtained is analyzed, recorded, and processed by in-depth content analysis and written in a narrative manner into the research results. The results of the study show that consulting services with parental mediation can be used to help improve students’ understanding of digital literacy. Service implementation is carried out through: (1) introduction stage; (2) situation description/ problem identification and analysis of problems; (3) the selection of solutions and how to use them; (4) demonstration of the selected solution; (5) conducting training and feedback; (6) giving homework; (7) evaluating the process and results and (8) terminating the consulting relationship. The implications of the study are to strengthen the role of school collaboration with parents in children's education and increase positive internet skills in students when learning at home.

Abstract

The purpose of this research was conducted to find out students' understanding regarding the role of the principal in guidance and counseling services in schools, so to achieve this goal a qualitative descriptive method was carried out through data collection with semi-structured interviews with 86 2nd semester students of S1 Islamic Education Management STAINU Tasikmalaya in academic 2020/2021, observation using passive participles and documentation. The results of the study stated that the experience gained by students when attending school, both from guidance and counseling services carried out in schools and from observations made independently of the performance of the principal in carrying out his duties and roles, influence the formation of students' understanding of the role of the principal in guidance and counseling services. counseling. The role school principal has a strategic position in advancing and determining the direction of the success of guidance and counseling services so that in its implementation it requires adequate skills and knowledge regarding the role and duties of the principal in guidance and counseling services as well as cooperation from various stakeholders from both government agencies and the community. Besides that, higher education institutions, especially lecturers, also have a big contribution to increasing student understanding through holding lectures in guidance and counseling courses in the Islamic education management department.

Abstract

This research is entitled "Effectiveness of Group Counseling using the Thought Stopping Technique in Reducing Body Disastisfaction in Students". This research is motivated by the phenomenon of body dissatisfaction or dissatisfaction with body shape, so that negative judgments arise in individuals. The aim of this research is to determine the level of body disasstisfaction before and after being given group counseling using the thought stopping technique, and to determine the effectiveness of group counseling using the thought stopping technique in reducing body disasstisfaction in students. The type of research used is quantitative research with experimental methods, while the research design is pre-experimental design with a One-Group Pretest-Posttest Design. Sampling used purposive sampling technique. The T test results show that the significant value (2-tailed) of 0.003 is smaller than 0.05, meaning that Ha is accepted and H0 is rejected, and there is a difference between the pretest and posttest. This research helps to reduce negative thoughts and replace them with more positive thoughts.

Abstract

The research objective is to learn how to use contracts to minimize the success of smartphones while studying students at home. The study was conducted on 5 students of SMAN 3 Kota Tasikmalaya who were selected using proportional random sampling technique in one group pretest-posttest design experiment. Meanwhile, to analyze data using descriptive and nonparametric statistics. The results of the preliminary study showed that smartphones when studying students showed a category of users at risk. However, after the training is given it becomes a regular user category (increased), so students can take advantage of learning time easily and manage more readiness in overcoming learning in school. The trial results show significant results obtained by Asymp values. Sig = 0.038 <of a (0.05) then rejected means that there are differences in students using smartphone compilation learning at home before and followed by counseling using motivational contract techniques, using contract techniques proven effective to minimize smartphones based on student learning time at home. This shows the technique of a contract that can be agreed as one that asks for help and counseling in minimizing smartphones while studying.

Abstract

Extracurricular coaching has an important role in helping students develop their potential, interests and talents so that they can play a more active role in the learning process and then ultimately influence their learning achievement. Through targeted coaching, we can create and develop superior and quality Human Resources. So, the aim of this research is to determine the magnitude of the influence of extracurricular coaching on student learning achievement at Miftahulhuda IT High School. The research method used is a descriptive method with a quantitative approach. The number of samples used was 30 respondents. The data collection technique uses a questionnaire and is processed using the Regression Test and Determination coefficient analysis techniques. The results of the research show that there is a positive influence and relationship from variable 0.001 < 0.05, so the alternative hypothesis H0 is rejected and Ha is accepted. The calculation results for the coefficient of determination are (0.638) or 63%. This means that extracurricular coaching contributes 63% to learning achievement.
