Abstract

This research and development aims to determine the validity, practicality, and effectiveness of the interactive multimedia Scrapbook material explaining informative texts for fourth grade students of SDN Tarokan 3. This study uses a research and development method with the ADDIE model consisting of stages (1) Analysis, (2) Design, (3) Development, (4) Implementation, and (5) Evaluation. The subjects of this study were teachers and 41 fourth grade students of SDN Tarokan 3. The data analysis techniques used were qualitative and quantitative descriptive analysis. The results of this study indicate that the validity test obtained a material expert score of 80% and a media expert score of 88%. The average value of the validation results is 84% ​​with very valid criteria. The results of the practicality test obtained a teacher response score of 90% and an average student response score of 91.5%. Both values ​​can be accumulated to 90.75%, with very practical criteria. The results of the effectiveness test showed a posttest score of 11 students in the limited trial of 88% and a score of 30 students in the extensive trial of 89%. Both scores were accumulated to 88.5%, with very effective criteria. It can be concluded that the interactive multimedia Scrapbook of informative text material developed for class IV SDN Tarokan 3 is stated to be very valid, very practical, and very effective for use in classroom learning. Interactive multimedia Scrapbook can increase students' enthusiasm for learning and can have an effect on improving student learning outcomes in the material explaining informative texts
