Abstract

This study focuses on strategic innovation management and operational performance using the Upstream Petroleum Regulatory Commission South-South Nigeria. The study adopted a survey design and questionnaire as instruments for data collection. The total population of the study comprised 497 staff of the organization. A calculation of the sample size using the Taro Yamane method produced a result of 222. A proportionate allocation formula was applied in the distribution of the survey in the following states: River State, Bayelsa, Akwa Ibom, Delta, and Edo State, Nigeria.  Out of 222 copies of a questionnaire sent to the participants; only 207 were returned and utilized for the study while the remaining 15 copies were not used. The hypotheses were statistically tested and analyzed using ordinary least squares and Pearson correlation methods at a 5% level of significance. The findings of research objective one indicate that integrated management practices (IMP) have a significant impact on organizational effectiveness OE) when the p-value (.000) is less than a 5 % level of significance (p < 0.05). Finally, organizations should develop comprehensive innovation strategies that align with their overall business objectives. This involves integrating innovation across all functions and ensuring that it supports both short-term goals and long-term vision.

Abstract

Purpose: The fundamental goal of this research is to develop a conceptual framework for performance, continuous process improvement, and total quality management. Design/Methodology/Approach: Exploring the literature on total quality management and other variables in connection to various relationships has been the subject of recent investigations. Findings: This paper provides an introduction of total quality management, explains how it transforms into a sophisticated strategy employed in modern businesses, and discusses the literature-based research that has been done in this field. This study suggests that total quality management, a concept popularized by Deming, be investigated in a range of industries in order to enhance product quality, reduce waste, and increase productivity. Research Restrictions/Implications: This study is an integrative evaluation of the prior research on the idea of overall quality management and its connection. Future researchers are urged to make use of descriptive survey and empirical technique to generalize its findings. Originality/Value: To reflect comprehensive quality management, continuous improvement, and process performance, this study created a conceptual framework and model. The author created a summary table to display earlier research on the subject, including authors, topics, countries, methodologies, and findings. In light of the aforementioned, the researcher filled a knowledge gap.

Abstract

Purpose: The study investigated how information technology has impacted the responsiveness of the telecommunication industry, Airtel, South East, Nigeria Methodology/approach: The study used a correlational survey design, with copies of the questionnaire serving as the main data collection tool. A probability simple random sampling technique was used to distribute the survey face-to-face using a five-point Likert scale. The data was tested using correlation to analyze the relationship between the variables. Result/Findings: The result of research hypothesis one indicates that a unit rise in teleconferencing applications results in a 0.996 increase in employee responsiveness at a 5 % level of significance. The result of research hypothesis two revealed that a unit increase in internet applications results in a 0.865 increase in service quality at a 5 % level of significance. The researchers suggest businesses provide opportunities for their employees' ongoing education and training, so they can gain the most recent credentials and expertise in their field. Contribution: The study established a gap in the conceptual framework relating the variables of teleconferencing software, internet, and service quality. This current study aims to close the conceptual and geographic coverage gaps in the literature. Practical Implications: The outcome of this study would help policymakers push for investments in opportunities for lifelong learning and promote collaborations between businesses, governments, and educational institutions. Novelty: This study contributed to the body of knowledge by identifying gaps in the literature and geographic coverage. Keywords: Information Technology, Teleconferencing Application, Employee Responsiveness, Resource Based Theory, Pearson Correlation, Nigeria.

Abstract

As deep-sea mining and marine mineral extraction enterprises expand into underexplored oceanic territories, the intricacy of these operations introduces multifaceted challenges. These include elevated operational costs, technical sophistication, increased susceptibility to fraudulent activities, workforce capacity gaps, as well as ethical and regulatory concerns. This study explores the role of cutting-edge technologies in mitigating procurement fraud within the marine mineral sector in North Central Nigeria. Specifically, it examines the impact of artificial intelligence adoption on enhancing the detection and prevention of procurement-related fraud. This research utilized a quantitative research method using a survey technique as an instrument for data collection. The study utilized the Tarro Yamane method to determine sample size. The study adopts a quantitative research method. The questionnaire was administered to a population of four hundred and eight (480) participants with in the North central, Niger State and Plateau State. Bowley proportional allocation method was used to determine an optimum number of questionnaires suitable for each stratum within the selected states, North Central, Niger State and Plateau State, Nigeria. The Pearson correlation result revealed that artificial intelligence positively influences procurement fraud detection in the deep-water mining industry. This result confirms a positive result with the value of (p .000, r = .990, N = 207). Managers are advised to deploy digital technologies to monitor and track marine mineral production, supply chain activities, and financial transactions of firms. This will help firms to enhance transparency, trust, decrease human errors, and improve data quality. This study advances trust-disruptive theory by connecting emerging technology and procurement using deep-seawater or marine mineral sectors. The study provides the deep-water mining industry and other organizations with new insight on how to proactively assess and manage procurement problems leading to the cost of adopting new technology and staff development and compliance demands.
