Abstract

This research is motivated by the low interest and poor composition writing skills of students due to the use of unengaging learning models. The purpose of this study is to improve the learning process and determine the effectiveness of the Picture and Picture model in enhancing composition writing skills of fourth-grade students at SDN 1 Tagog, Cipatat Subdistrict, West Bandung Regency. This study is a Classroom Action Research (CAR) conducted in three cycles. In the first cycle, students wrote compositions using black-and-white pictures; in the second cycle, using colored pictures; and in the third cycle, using colored pictures with added keywords. The results show a significant improvement in students’ writing skills. In the first cycle, only 4 out of 17 students (23.52%) achieved mastery with an average score of 56.47. In the second cycle, 13 students (76.47%) achieved mastery with an average score of 71.17. In the third cycle, 15 students (88.23%) achieved mastery with an average score of 81.76. In conclusion, the Picture and Picture model is effective in improving composition writing skills in Bahasa Indonesia learning in fourth grade.

Abstract

Objective: Employee loyalty is an important factor in determining the success of the service and manufacturing sectors, with a profound effect on customer satisfaction and profitability. It is very important to continuously increase employee loyalty so as to achieve a significant competitive advantage, especially by minimizing the detrimental effects of high employee turnover. This study provides a detailed review of the methods and variables discussed in the peer-reviewed article on employee loyalty. Method: Through quantitative analysis, organization, and graphical representation of bibliometric data, including publication frequency and number of citations, derived from a thorough examination of the literature on in-depth analysis. Results: Our results provide essential insights and guidance for practitioners and scholars, aiming to navigate key achievements and hurdles in contemporary empirical investigations of employee loyalty. Novelty: It highlights shortcomings in current empirical research, suggests new paths for future studies, and identifies job loyalty gaps.

Abstract

Kegiatan pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kesadaran digital siswa SMP Negeri 19 Pekanbaru melalui sosialisasi berbasis empat pilar literasi digital yang meliputi kecakapan digital, etika digital, keamanan digital, dan budaya digital. Pelaksanaan kegiatan dilakukan melalui metode ceramah interaktif, demonstrasi, diskusi, serta sesi tanya jawab dengan contoh kasus yang relevan dengan kehidupan. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan peningkatan pemahaman siswa terkait pemilahan informasi, etika berkomunikasi di ruang digital, keamanan data pribadi, dan pentingnya menjaga jejak digital. Siswa juga mampu mengidentifikasi risiko digital seperti hoaks, phishing, dan cyberbullying. Kegiatan ini memberikan dampak positif dalam membangun kesadaran digital dan mendorong penggunaan media digital secara bijak.
