Abstract

This research aims to examine various strategies for strengthening character education in schools through the implementation of the Independent Learning Curriculum. Character education is an urgent need amidst the challenges of globalization, technological advances, and moral degradation that occurs among students. The Merdeka Curriculum is presented as an educational policy that offers a more holistic, flexible and contextual learning approach, thus providing great opportunities for building student character. The method used in this research is a literature review (library research) by analyzing various sources such as scientific journal articles, academic books, government regulations, and previous research reports. Data analysis techniques were carried out through content analysis and thematic synthesis. The results of the study show that the character strengthening strategy in the Merdeka Curriculum can be carried out through several approaches, including implementing the Pancasila Student Profile Strengthening Project (P5), integrating character values ​​in cross-disciplinary learning, implementing differentiated learning, and using authentic assessment that emphasizes processes and attitudes. Factors supporting the success of this strategy include teacher readiness, availability of resources and training, as well as parent and community support. On the other hand, lack of teacher understanding, limited facilities, and minimal parental involvement are obstacles that need to be overcome. This study concludes that strengthening character education through the Independent Curriculum requires synergy of all educational elements so that implementation can be effective and sustainable.

Abstract

Abstrak Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi dampak positif metode bernyanyi terhadap peningkatan daya ingat peserta didik MDTA Al-Mukarromah dalam pembelajaran akidah akhlak. Metode penelitian menggunakan metode kualitatif melalui observasi kelas, wawancara kepada guru dan peserta didik, tes daya ingat, dan analisis konten. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa metode bernyanyi memberikan kontribusi signifikan terhadap peningkatan daya ingat peserta didik, wawancara mendalam dengan guru dan peserta didik mengungkapkan rasa antusiasme dan keterlibatan yang tinggi selama pembelajaran, serta perasaan positif terhadap penggunaan metode bernyanyi. Analisis konten menyoroti pengalaman peserta didik, termasuk peningkatan motivasi, koneksi emosional, dan keinginan untuk terus mengikuti pembelajaran. Penelitian ini memberikan kontribusi pada pemahaman lebih lanjut tentang potensi pemberdayaan peserta didik melalui metode bernyanyi, dengan menggambarkan bukan hanya peningkatan daya ingat tetapi juga dampak positif pada aspek motivasi dan keterlibatan emosional. Implikasi praktis dari penelitian ini adalah metode bernyanyi merupakan alternatif media pembelajaran yang menarik dan efektif dalam meningkatkan daya ingat peserta didik. Kata kunci: Metode bernyanyi, daya ingat, MDTA Al-Mukarrohmah Abstract This study aims to evaluate the positive impact of singing method on improving the memory of MDTA Al-Mukarromah students in learning moral creeds. The research method uses qualitative methods through classroom observation, interviews with teachers and learners, memory tests, and content analysis. The results showed that the singing method contributed significantly to the improvement of learners' memory. In-depth interviews with teachers and learners revealed a high sense of enthusiasm and involvement during learning, as well as positive feelings towards the use of singing methods. Content analysis highlights learners' experiences, including increased motivation, emotional connection, and a desire to keep abreast of learning. This research contributes to further understanding of the potential empowerment of learners through singing methods, by describing not only improved memory but also a positive impact on aspects of motivation and emotional engagement. The practical implication of this study is that the singing method is an alternative learning medium that is interesting and effective in improving the memory of students.
