Abstract

This study is motivated by the declining job satisfaction and work motivation of teachers at XYZ School, which is suspected to be influenced by the principal’s leadership style. The theoretical framework includes leadership style theories (transformational, transactional, authoritarian, participative), Herzberg’s job satisfaction theory, and motivation theories from Maslow and the two-factor theory. This research uses a qualitative approach with a case study method. Data were collected through in-depth interviews with teachers and students, observations, and document analysis. Data analysis was conducted using the interactive model from Miles and Huberman, including data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. The findings reveal that the principal’s leadership style—closed, authoritarian, and non-participative—negatively affects teachers’ job satisfaction and motivation. Teachers feel excluded from decision-making, experience unfair treatment, and lack professional support. Moreover, the change in leadership has led to deteriorating relationships between the principal and teachers, marked by social divisions, distrust, and weakened collaboration. The school climate has become tense, discouraging both professional growth and educational quality. Non-inclusive leadership styles negatively impact the work climate in schools and lower the overall quality of education.

Abstract

This study examines the effect of agile leadership on employee performance at PT Formosa Ingredient Factory Tbk., with employee empowerment and work motivation as mediating variables. The study uses a questionnaire survey method with a population of 84 employees. Statistical analysis is conducted using the Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) approach. Agile leadership is measured through the indicators of context-setting agility, stakeholder agility, creative agility, and self-leadership agility. Employee empowerment is measured through the indicators of meaning, competence, autonomous decision-making, and impact, while work motivation is measured through recognition, achievement, responsibility, and personal growth. Employee performance as the dependent variable is measured based on work quality, work quantity, timeliness, effectiveness, and commitment. Mediation testing is conducted using the bootstrapping method because PLS-SEM does not assume a normal data distribution. The research results indicate that agile leadership has a positive and significant effect on employee performance. Employee empowerment significantly mediates the influence of agile leadership on employee performance. This means that the implementation of agile leadership will be more effective in improving performance when accompanied by enhanced empowerment. However, work motivation does not significantly mediate the relationship between agile leadership and employee performance. The influence of agile leadership on motivation and empowerment is considerable, but the effect of motivation on performance is very small.

Abstract

This research investigates the influence of claim services on the sales of insurance products at PT. Jasaraharja Putera. The study focuses on three key variables: claim knowledge, claim process, and approved claims, analyzing their effects on customer repurchase intentions. A quantitative approach was employed, utilizing surveys to gather data from policyholders. Results indicate that all three variables positively impact customer loyalty and purchasing decisions. Among them, approved claims have the most significant effect, highlighting the importance of efficient claim processing and transparency in enhancing customer satisfaction. The findings provide valuable insights for the company to optimize its claim services and improve sales.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi strategi pemasaran yang diterapkan oleh manajemen dalam meningkatkan omzet penjualan obat pada PT. Dewata Industri Pharmasi Cabang Denpasar melalui platform digital seperti E-Katalog , dan PPGOS. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah analisis kualitatif, termasuk studi kasus, wawancara mendalam, Kuesioner, Observasi dan analisis data penjualan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa integrasi strategi pemasaran digital, optimasi produk, dan peningkatan layanan pelanggan dapat secara signifikan meningkatkan omzet penjualan. Rekomendasi strategis meliputi (1) Peningkatan visibilitas produk di platform digital melalui optimasi SEO dan konten menarik. (2) Pelatihan tim penjualan untuk meningkatkan keterampilan dalam menggunakan platform digital dan melayani pelanggan. (3) Kolaborasi dengan pihak terkait seperti instansi pemerintah, BUMN, dan Perusahaan daerah untuk memaksimalkan potensi pasar. Penelitian ini memberikan kontribusi praktis bagi PT. Dewata Industri Pharmasi Cabang Denpasar dalam meningkatkan performa penjualan serta kontribusi teoritis bagi pengembangan ilmu manajemen pemasaran digital. Dengan menerapkan strategi yang tepat, PT. Dewata Industri Pharmasi Cabang Denpasar dapat memanfaatkan peluang pasar yang tersedia melalui platform digital dan mencapai pertumbuhan bisnis yang berkelanjutan.
