Abstract

This activity aims to introduce a sustainable lifestyle to children in Raudhatul Athfal (RA) Taufiqurrahman, Beji Timur Village, Depok. Along with climate change, it causes shifts in seasons so that during the dry season there is drought. On the other hand, during the rainy season it causes flooding or puddles. This situation has a negative impact on health, so it is time for people to adopt a sustainable lifestyle to play a role in maintaining economic, social and environmental sustainability. Conceptually, this lifestyle is a manifestation of the circular economic development model to accelerate the achievement of the SDGs by 2030. Socialization is needed as a mechanism to enrich knowledge and get used to a sustainable lifestyle. Socialization material related to (1) reduce, reuse and recycle, (2) plastic diet, (3) consumption of local vegetables and fruits, (4) saving clean water, and (5) reducing vehicle use by walking. The solution criteria are: Children are involved in activities so they understand examples of sustainable lifestyles. This is done through recycling activities for school crafts and eating local fruit/vegetables which are widely grown or sold around Depok City, such as: bananas, papaya, mangoes and others. As an evaluation, students' daily habits were selected, namely: (1) shopping habits, (2) consumption or eating patterns, and (3) transportation. The target of the activity is that children can know and practice this lifestyle so that when they continue to elementary school level, they have already received this knowledge.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji pengaruh gaya kepemimpinan terhadap kinerja karyawan dengan motivasi sebagai variabel mediasi di PT X, sebuah perusahaan sekuritas. Pendekatan kuantitatif digunakan dengan metode SEM-PLS dan data dikumpulkan dari 50 responden. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa gaya kepemimpinan tidak memiliki pengaruh langsung terhadap kinerja karyawan. Namun, gaya kepemimpinan terbukti memiliki pengaruh signifikan terhadap motivasi kerja. Motivasi kerja memiliki pengaruh signifikan terhadap kinerja karyawan dan berhasil memediasi hubungan antara gaya kepemimpinan dan kinerja karyawan. Temuan ini menunjukkan pentingnya motivasi sebagai faktor penghubung dalam meningkatkan kinerja melalui penerapan gaya kepemimpinan yang mendukung. Perusahaan disarankan untuk memprioritaskan strategi kepemimpinan yang mampu meningkatkan motivasi kerja guna mencapai kinerja karyawan yang optimal. Penelitian ini berkontribusi pada pengembangan teori dan praktik manajemen sumber daya manusia, khususnya dalam konteks perusahaan sekuritas. This study aims to examine the influence of leadership style on employee performance with motivation as a mediating variable at PT X, a securities firm. A quantitative approach was employed using the SEM-PLS method, with data collected from 50 respondents. The findings indicate that leadership style does not have a direct influence on employee performance. However, leadership style significantly affects work motivation. Work motivation significantly influences employee performance and successfully mediates the relationship between leadership style and employee performance. These findings highlight the importance of motivation as a linking factor in improving performance through the application of supportive leadership styles. Companies are advised to prioritize leadership strategies that enhance work motivation to achieve optimal employee performance. This study contributes to the development of human resource management theory and practice, particularly in the context of securities firms.

Abstract

Depok City as one of the supporting cities for the Special Capital Region of Jakarta faces problems related to waste and water resource management. Regulations have been regulated through regional regulations, but in practice, unconscious behaviour towards environmental hygiene is still found. To support sustainable development, it must be based on public awareness, so it is necessary to socialize the use of clean water to foster water awareness among children. An activity was carried out with RA Taufiqurrahman in Beji Timur Depok to introduce ways to protect and utilize clean water. Starting on November 30, it will be continued on December 6, 2022, involving 35 children, three accompanying teachers and the school principal. This topic is in line with the commemoration of World Handwashing with Soap Day proclaimed by the World Health Organization every October 15th. There are five aspects that are socialized to children including: the benefits of clean water, the characteristics of clean water, sources of clean water, types of water pollution and how to maintain clean water. Followed by the practice of washing hands with soap and ending with hand washing greetings. The evaluation results show that there is an understanding of water awareness so that the support of teachers and parents can help children carry out this habit. Sustainability and stakeholder support can shape the character of Indonesian children who care about the environment so that later they will contribute to supporting the sustainable development of Depok City.

Abstract

ABSTRACT The advancement of information and communication technology has become an important factor that is useful in various aspects. Everything that is done online also encourages progress in the field of information and communication technology. One form of product from information and communication technology is games. With the rapid development and popularity of games, it supports many game majors in college. At the high school level, especially upper secondary, game learning can be carried out through extracurricular activities. With extracurricular activities, high school students can develop their potential earlier and make the learning they get as a provision for entering the world of college later. This extracurricular activity also becomes one of the ways for students to support the improvement of non-academic achievements. Similar community service programs have been carried out previously for extracurricular teaching and have received a positive response. Sinar Dharma High School, which previously won a competition held through community service programs, now opens an extracurricular for game programming with Unity. The community service program is divided into several stages, namely needs research, material creation, teaching implementation, and final assessment. Along with the rise of entrepreneurial activity among young people, one of the businesses that attracts the attention of many beginners is a barbershop. Many beginners want to try starting this business, including "Davidof Barbershop" in East Beji, Depok. The business will be opened in September 2022 with the consideration that campuses around Depok have started hybrid or limited face-to-face meetings in the middle of that month. In practice there are many obstacles to retaining customers so that within two months of starting a business it has not shown satisfactory performance. To help partners carry out mentoring and socialization activities in the introduction of the business model canvas (BMC) as a framework (blueprint) to define business pilot models and learn to map the customer journey. The preparation of BMC aims to explain, assess, visualize, and change the business model so that business performance is maximized. Based on these considerations, an introduction to BMC was carried out as information for entrepreneurs who are starting a business. This matrix consists of the right side describing external aspects including customer segments, value propositions, channels, customer relationships and revenue streams. While the left side or the internal aspect includes key activities, key resources, key partnerships, and cost structure. The ability to understand the 9 blocks will support the smooth running of a business. Through this assistance and socialization, business actors can understand BMC as an initial stage in running a business, even though it is not easy to go through the pioneering  period of the business.   ABSTRAK Seiring maraknya aktivitas entrepreneurial di kalangan anak muda, salah satu usaha yang banyak dilirik pemula adalah barbershop. Banyak pemula ingin mencoba merintis usaha ini diantaranya “Davidof Barbershop” di Beji Timur, Depok. Usaha dibuka pada September 2022 dengan pertimbangan kampus di sekitar Depok sudah mulai hybrid atau tatap muka terbatas di pertengahan bulan tersebut. Dalam prakteknya banyak kendala mempertahankan pelanggan sehingga dalam dua bulan memulai usaha belum menunjukan kinerja yang memuaskan. Untuk membantu mitra dilakukan kegitan pendampingan dan sosialisasi dalam pengenalan business model canvas (BMC) sebagai kerangka kerja (blueprint) mendefinisikan model rintisan bisnis serta belajar memetakan customer journey. Penyusunan BMC bertujuan menjelaskan, menilai, memvisualisasikan serta mengubah model bisnis agar kinerja usaha menjadi maksimal. Atas pertimbangan tersebut, dilakukan kegiatan pengenalan BMC sebagai informasi bagi wirausaha yang sedang memulai usaha. Matrik ini terdiri bagian kanan menggambarkan aspek eksternal meliputi customer segments, value propositions, channels, customer relationship dan revenue streаm. Sedangkan bagian kiri atau aspek internal meliputi key аctivities, key resources, key pаrtnership dan cost structure. Kemampuan memahami ke-9 blok tersebut akan mendukung kelancaran dalam perintisan usaha. Melalui pendampingan dan sosialisasi ini pelaku usaha dapat memahami BMC sebagai tahapan awal dalam menjalankan usaha, meskipun dalam realisasinya tidak mudah menjalani masa rintisan bisnis tersebut.

Abstract

Simtex Mechatronic Indojaya is a limited liability company that runs a business by producing and supplying total ventilation systems in the form of HVAC (heating, ventilation, and air conditioning) for high-rise buildings, such as apartments, malls, hotels, shopping centers, as well as office and industrial buildings. To meet its production needs, PT. Simtex Mechatronic Indojaya faces challenges in finding skilled human resources in the field of engineering, as the number of HR with such expertise is increasingly limited. This Community Service Activity (PKM) aims to assist PT. Simtex Mechatronic Indojaya in planning and developing the human resources required. The implementation methods of the PKM include direct visits to the company's location to conduct interviews and presentations on human resource management, followed by question-and-answer sessions to delve into existing issues. The results of this activity indicate that the proposed solutions include recruitment through employee recommendations, collaboration with universities or vocational high schools (SMK), participation in job fairs, utilization of social media, and the use of digital technology such as AI to review resumes, which can assist the company in the recruitment process. In conclusion, this PKM activity provided companies with a broader understanding of the importance of human resource development and offered clear guidance on improving the quality of existing human resources to ensure the sustainability of the company. ABSTRAK Simtex Mechatronic Indojaya adalah perseroan terbatas yang menjalankan usaha dengan memproduksi dan memasok sistem ventilasi total berupa HVAC (pemanas, ventilasi, dan pendingin udara) untuk gedung-gedung tinggi, seperti apartemen, mall, hotel, pusat perbelanjaan, serta gedung perkantoran dan industri. Untuk memenuhi kebutuhan produksinya, PT. Simtex Mechatronic Indojaya menghadapi tantangan dalam menemukan sumber daya manusia yang terampil dalam bidang engineering, mengingat jumlah sumber daya manusia yang memiliki keahlian tersebut semakin terbatas. Kegiatan Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat (PKM) ini bertujuan untuk membantu PT. Simtex Mechatronic Indojaya dalam merencanakan dan mengembangkan sumber daya manusia yang dibutuhkan. Metode pelaksanaan PKM meliputi kunjungan langsung ke lokasi perusahaan untuk melakukan wawancara dan presentasi penyuluhan mengenai pengelolaan sumber daya manusia, diikuti dengan sesi tanya jawab untuk mendalami permasalahan yang ada. Hasil dari kegiatan ini menunjukkan bahwa solusi yang diusulkan meliputi perekrutan melalui rekomendasi karyawan, kerja sama dengan universitas atau sekolah menengah kejuruan (SMK), partisipasi dalam job fair, pemanfaatan media sosial, dan penggunaan teknologi digital seperti AI untuk mengecek resume dapat membantu perusahaan dalam proses rekrutmen. Kesimpulannya, kegiatan PKM ini memberikan wawasan yang lebih luas bagi perusahaan mengenai pentingnya pengembangan sumber daya manusia, serta memberikan arahan yang jelas untuk meningkatkan kualitas sumber daya manusia yang ada demi keberlangsungan perusahaan.

Abstract

Determining the right selling price is a major challenge for PT Surya Mega Mustika. Inaccuracy in calculating Cost of Goods Sold (COGS) can impact the company's competitiveness and profits. Therefore, this community service activity aims to provide a strategic solution for calculating COGS more accurately. In determining the cost of goods sold (COGS), there are two main approaches commonly used: the full costing method and the variable costing method. These two methods differ in how they calculate production cost elements. This activity uses a quantitative and qualitative approach. The quantitative approach is carried out by collecting production cost data, while the qualitative approach is carried out through interviews with management to identify problems in determining selling prices. In addition, the full costing method and the variable costing method are applied to obtain more accurate COGS calculation results. This activity includes cost structure analysis, applying COGS calculations with the right method, and developing recommendations for more efficient cost management. It is hoped that through the implementation of this approach, PT Surya Mega Mustika can improve operational efficiency, determine more competitive selling prices, and increase profitability. This service is also expected to assist the company in optimally managing resources and maintaining its competitive edge amidst increasingly fierce competition in the printing industry. ABSTRAK Menetapkan harga jual yang tepat menjadi tantangan utama bagi PT Surya Mega Mustika. Ketidaktepatan dalam menghitung Harga Pokok Penjualan (HPP) dapat berdampak pada penurunan daya saing dan laba yang diperoleh perusahaan. Oleh karena itu, kegiatan pengabdian pada masyarakat  ini bertujuan untuk memberikan solusi strategis dalam perhitungan HPP yang lebih akurat. Dalam menentukan harga pokok penjualan (HPP), terdapat dua pendekatan utama yang umum digunakan, yaitu metode full costing dan variable costing. Kedua metode ini memiliki perbedaan dalam cara memperhitungkan elemen-elemen biaya produksi. Kegiatan ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dan kualitatif. Pendekatan kuantitatif dilakukan dengan mengumpulkan data biaya produksi, sementara pendekatan kualitatif dilakukan melalui wawancara dengan pihak manajemen guna mengidentifikasi permasalahan dalam penetapan harga jual. Selain itu, metode full costing dan variable costing diterapkan untuk memperoleh hasil perhitungan HPP yang lebih akurat. Kegiatan ini mencakup analisis struktur biaya, penerapan perhitungan HPP dengan metode yang tepat, serta penyusunan rekomendasi pengelolaan biaya yang lebih efisien. Diharapkan, melalui penerapan pendekatan ini, PT Surya Mega Mustika dapat meningkatkan efisiensi operasional, menentukan harga jual yang lebih kompetitif, serta meningkatkan profitabilitas. Pengabdian ini juga diharapkan mampu membantu perusahaan dalam mengelola sumber daya secara optimal dan mempertahankan keunggulan di tengah persaingan industri percetakan yang semakin ketat.
