Abstract

Server rooms require strict temperature and humidity control to ensure the stability, reliability, and longevity of electronic devices. Excessive heat or uncontrolled moisture may lead to hardware degradation, reduced system performance, and potential service interruptions. To address these challenges, this study presents the design and implementation of an IoT-based digital monitoring system that integrates an ESP32 microcontroller with a DHT22 temperature–humidity sensor. The collected data are transmitted via Wi-Fi to the ThingSpeak cloud platform, where they are stored, processed, and visualized in real time. The research method covers hardware prototyping, firmware programming, and a 24-hour continuous simulation to evaluate system performance. Experimental results indicate that the monitoring system successfully records temperature variations within the range of 22–30°C and relative humidity levels between 45–65%. When validated against a calibrated reference device, the system achieves an average measurement error of 0.6°C for temperature and 2.1% RH for humidity, which demonstrates adequate precision for server room applications. In terms of communication performance, the data upload to ThingSpeak shows an average latency of 1.2 seconds with a transmission success rate of 99%, ensuring reliable remote accessibility. Furthermore, the system is equipped with configurable alarm thresholds that provide early warnings whenever the environmental conditions exceed safe operating limits. Overall, the proposed IoT-based monitoring design proves to be a feasible, scalable, and low-cost solution for server room environments. It not only supports preventive maintenance by enabling timely detection of anomalies but also offers a practical model for extending digital monitoring to other critical facilities where environmental stability is essential.

Abstract

Teknologi Informasi dan Komunukasi digunakan dalam berbagai jenis aktifitas didalam kehidupan saat ini, Teknologi informasi sangat berperan dalam organisasi perusahaan salah satunya Business intelligence. Salah satu penghasil knowledge yaitu data mining. Data mining merupakan suatu teknik pengumpulan data untuk membentuk pengetahuan baru dari data yang ada. Banyak teknik pengelompokan data yang digunakan salah satunya algoritma yang sering digunakan adalah K-Means. Algoritma K-Means adalah algoritma clustering yang paling sederhana dibanding dengan algoritma yang lain. Algoritma ini termasuk salah satu algoritma paling penting dalam data mining. K-Means membagi data kemudian mengelompokkannya kedalam beberapa cluster yang memiliki kemiripan dan memisahkan setiap cluster berdasarkan perbedaan antar masing-masing cluster. Algoritma ini telah dikemukakan oleh beberapa peneliti dari disiplin ilmu yang berbeda. Tujuan penelitian ini dapat menganalisa clustering siswa baru menggunakan metode K-Means pada SMK N 1 Sarolangun serta merancang prototype clusteringnya. Dimana manfaat yang ditemukan nantinya yaitu untuk meningkat akurasi dalam pengelompokan siswa baru. Information and Communication Technology is used in various types of activities in today’s life. Information technology plays a crucial role in organizational operations, one of which is Business Intelligence. One of the key sources of knowledge is data mining. Data mining is a technique for collecting data in order to generate new knowledge from existing data. There are many data clustering techniques used, and one commonly applied algorithm is K-Means. The K-Means algorithm is one of the simplest clustering algorithms compared to others. It is also considered one of the most important algorithms in data mining. K-Means partitions data and groups it into several clusters based on similarities and distinguishes each cluster based on their differences. This algorithm has been proposed by researchers from various academic disciplines. The objective of this study is to analyze the clustering of new students using the K-Means method at SMK N 1 Sarolangun and to design a clustering prototype. The benefit of this study is to improve the accuracy of new student grouping.

Abstract

Cybersecurity is a crucial issue in the digital era, especially for communities actively using social media platforms such as Facebook. The PKK mothers of Bukit Subur Village, Merangin, represent a group vulnerable to fraud and misuse of personal data online. This community service activity aims to enhance the understanding and awareness of PKK mothers regarding the importance of protecting personal data and recognizing various fraud schemes prevalent on Facebook. The methods employed include interactive education through counseling, discussions, and case simulations. The results of the activity show an increase in participants' knowledge and vigilance towards cybersecurity risks, as well as their ability to identify and avoid fraud schemes on social media. This initiative is expected to foster a better digital literacy culture within the Bukit Subur Village community.

Abstract

This community service program was implemented through the dissemination of training outcomes on coding and artificial intelligence (AI) learning at SMKN 11 Merangin. The main objective of this program was to enhance the digital literacy competencies of teachers and students, particularly in mastering fundamental programming skills and applying basic AI concepts in the learning process. The program was conducted through a series of lectures, workshops, hands-on practice, and mentoring sessions. The results indicated that both teachers and students were able to comprehend the basic concepts of coding, develop simple programs, and identify the potential applications of artificial intelligence in daily life. It is expected that this activity will contribute to improving the quality of learning in vocational schools and foster the development of a school ecosystem that supports digital competency advancement in the era of Industry 4.0.

Abstract

Digital transformation in organizations supports the acceleration of organizational change in managing their activities. One of the platforms that facilitates this process is Google Services, which enables integrated collaboration, communication, and data management. This community service program aims to optimize the use of Google Services to support the digitalization of organizational activities at KIPAN (Kader Inti Pemuda Anti Narkoba) of Jambi Province. The method employed was a participatory-perceptual approach through training, socialization, and hands-on practice involving 11 core administrators of KIPAN. Data were collected through field observations and analyzed using descriptive qualitative techniques. The results showed that 91% of participants had a very good understanding of the material presented, 73% were able to align the material with practical application, and 36% were capable of developing tasks and innovations using Google Services. These findings indicate that the program was effective in improving participants’ digital capacity, although further mentoring is still needed to strengthen innovation aspects. Overall, this program contributes to strengthening organizational capacity through the systematic use of digital technology.

Abstract

Transformasi digital pada klinik skala kecil masih menghadapi kendala efisiensi administrasi dan pengelolaan data. Penelitian ini bertujuan merancang dan mengimplementasikan sistem pendaftaran pasien berbasis website di Klinik Rakyat Merangin menggunakan metode Rational Unified Process (RUP) dengan pemodelan UML. Sistem dikembangkan menggunakan framework CodeIgniter, PHP, dan MySQL. Dengan menerapkan sistem pendaftaran berbasis web, klinik dapat menyederhanakan pengelolaan data pasien, mengurangi waktu tunggu, dan meningkatkan efisiensi operasional sebesar 35%. Selain itu, sistem ini berhasil mengurangi kesalahan pencatatan data sebesar 25%, yang sebelumnya terjadi pada proses manual. Hasil implementasi menunjukkan seluruh modul berjalan sesuai spesifikasi berdasarkan pengujian black box dan white box. Secara terukur, waktu pendaftaran menurun dari 10–15 menit menjadi 3–5 menit per pasien (efisiensi ±60–70%) serta mengurangi kesalahan pencatatan melalui validasi otomatis. Evaluasi pengguna menunjukkan peningkatan kemudahan penggunaan dan kepuasan layanan. Sistem ini mendukung digitalisasi layanan kesehatan primer dengan model ringan dan berbiaya rendah. Pengembangan selanjutnya diarahkan pada integrasi rekam medis elektronik, sistem BPJS, serta penguatan keamanan dan skalabilitas sistem.   Digital transformation in small-scale clinics still faces challenges in administrative efficiency and data management. This study aims to design and implement a website-based patient registration system at the Merangin People's Clinic using the Rational Unified Process (RUP) method with UML modeling. The system was developed using the CodeIgniter, PHP, and MySQL frameworks. By implementing a web-based registration system, the clinic can simplify patient data management, reduce waiting times, and increase operational efficiency by 35%. Furthermore, the system successfully reduced data recording errors by 25%, which previously occurred in manual processes. Implementation results showed that all modules ran according to specifications based on black-box and white-box testing. Registration time measurably decreased from 10–15 minutes to 3–5 minutes per patient (efficiency ±60–70%), and recording errors were reduced through automatic validation. User evaluations showed improved ease of use and service satisfaction. This system supports the digitalization of primary healthcare services with a lightweight and low-cost model. Further development is directed at integrating electronic medical records and the BPJS system, as well as strengthening system security and scalability.
