<![CDATA[This study aims to examine the concept of redemption in Titus 2:14 and explain the close relationship between redemption and good works, as well as its implications for the life of the church today. The concept of redemption in the New Testament, especially in Paul's letter to Titus, not only refers to liberation from the power of sin, but also includes the call to live in holiness and do good deeds as the identity of the redeemed. This research uses a qualitative method with an exegetical approach to analyse the text of Titus 2:14. The exegesis results show that redemption by Christ aims to form a people who are not only released from evil, but also purified and motivated to do good. The relevance for the church today lies in the importance of understanding that true salvation must be accompanied by real life transformation. The church is called to affirm its identity as God's people who are active in good works, and respond to theological and social challenges with the witness of holy and relevant lives. This research confirms that faith and good works are two things that cannot be separated in the lives of believers as evidence of Christ's redemptive work.AbstrakPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji konsep penebusan dalam Titus 2:14 dan menjelaskan hubungan erat antara penebusan dan perbuatan baik, serta implikasinya bagi kehidupan gereja masa kini. Konsep penebusan dalam Perjanjian Baru, khususnya dalam surat Paulus kepada Titus, tidak hanya menunjuk pada pembebasan dari kuasa dosa, tetapi juga mencakup panggilan untuk hidup dalam kekudusan dan melakukan perbuatan baik sebagai identitas umat tebusan. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan eksegetis untuk menganalisis teks Titus 2:14. Hasil eksegesis menunjukkan bahwa penebusan oleh Kristus bertujuan membentuk umat yang bukan hanya dilepaskan dari kejahatan, tetapi juga dimurnikan dan dimotivasi untuk berbuat baik. Relevansi bagi gereja masa kini terletak pada pentingnya memahami bahwa keselamatan yang sejati harus disertai dengan transformasi hidup yang nyata. Gereja dipanggil untuk menegaskan identitas sebagai umat milik Allah yang giat dalam perbuatan baik, serta menanggapi tantangan teologis dan sosial dengan kesaksian hidup yang kudus dan relevan. Penelitian ini menegaskan bahwa iman dan perbuatan baik adalah dua hal yang tidak dapat dipisahkan dalam kehidupan orang percaya sebagai bukti dari karya penebusan Kristus.]]>
