Abstract

This study aims to analyse the implementation of the Problem-Based Learning (PBL) model in Al-Qur'an Hadith learning at MTs Darwata Majenang, which is motivated by low student participation and limited understanding of the material due to the dominance of conventional teacher-centred methods. PBL was chosen because it uses real-world problems as the starting point for learning, thereby encouraging students to think critically, collaborate, and connect the material to real-life contexts. This study employs a qualitative approach using observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation techniques, analysed interactively through data reduction, presentation, and conclusion-drawing stages. The results of the study indicate that PBL is implemented through structured planning, organisation, implementation, and evaluation, with the integration of relevant social phenomena into the material. This implementation increases student engagement, analytical skills, presentation skills, courage to express opinions, and internalisation of Islamic values. PBL also strengthens cooperation, effective communication, and a participatory classroom atmosphere. Theoretically, this study enriches the literature on the application of PBL based on Islamic values in madrasahs. Practically, the results provide guidance for teachers in designing active learning that comprehensively integrates cognitive, affective, and psychomotor aspects, making Qur'an Hadith learning more contextual, meaningful, and relevant to the character development of students.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan perencanaan, pelaksanaan, dan evaluasi integrasi kurikulum merdeka dan JSIT dalam pembelajaran pendidikan agama Islam di SMPIT Harapan Bunda Purwokerto. Di sekolah tersebut menggunakan dua kurikulum secara bersamaan yaitu kurikulum merdeka sebagai kurikulum nasional dan kurikulum JSIT sebagai ciri khas sekolah Islam Terpadu. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif dengan jenis penelitian lapangan. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan yaitu wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan berupa teknik analisis data model Miles dan Huberman yang meliputi reduksi data, penyajian data, dan verifikasi data. Subjek penelitian yakni guru PAI, peserta didik, kepala sekolah, dan wakil kepala bidang kurikulum. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa integrasi kedua kurikulum dilakukan melalui modul ajar atau penyusunan perangkat pembelajaran (RPP) yang menggabungkan elemen kurikulum merdeka seperti pembelajaran berbasis projek, diferensiasi, serta metode ADLX, dengan karakteristik JSIT yang menekankan nilai-nilai keislaman. Pelaksanaan pembelajaran mendorong perkembangan siswa dalam aspek kognitif, bahwa dengan integrasi kurikulum pembelajaran PAI tidak sekadar menekankan hafalan materi, tetapi mendorong siswa untuk memahami, menganalisis, dan mengaitkan ajaran Islam dengan kehidupan nyata sehingga menumbuhkan kemampuan berpikir kritis dan reflektif dalam diri siswa. Aspek afektif, integrasi kurikulum membantu penguatan nilai-nilai akhlak mulia yang ditanamkan melalui pembiasaan ibadah, diskusi, dan proyek berbasis nilai Islam sehingga siswa tidak hanya mengetahui konsep moral, tetapi juga membiasakan diri berperilaku sesuai ajaran agama. Dan psikomotorik, siswa diberi kesempatan untuk mempraktikkan langsung keterampilan keagamaan seperti membaca Al- Qur’an. Evaluasi dilakukan secara formatif, sumatif, serta refleksi rutin melalui rapat sekolah. Kendala utama yang ditemukan yakni manajemen waktu dan kesiapan guru, namun dapat diatasi dengan strategi pengelolaan kelas dan inovasi metode. Intgrasi kurikulum merdeka dan JSIT dalam pembelajaran pendidikan agama Islam di SMPIT Harapan Bunda Purwokerto berhasil mewujudkan pembelajaran yang kontekstual, aplikatif, serta relevan dengan tujuan pendidikan nasional dan nilai-nilai Islam.

Abstract

In this modern era, the younger generation is facing an increasingly concerning moral crisis. The role of Islamic religious education teachers is crucial in instilling religious values ​​through the application of effective and appropriate learning strategies. This study aims to determine the strategies implemented by Islamic Religious Education (PAI) teachers in an effort to improve students' spiritual intelligence at SMK Negeri 1 Kaligondang. In facing moral challenges and character crises in the modern era, spiritual intelligence is an important aspect that must be instilled early on through an educational approach. This study uses a descriptive qualitative approach with data collection techniques through interviews, observations, and documentation. Meanwhile, the data analysis technique uses qualitative data analysis interactive models from Miles and Huberman which include data reduction, data presentation and drawing conclusions. In addition, to test the validity of the data, triangulation techniques were used. The results of the study showed that PAI teachers implemented various strategies, including the habituation of daily religious activities such as congregational dhuha and dzuhur prayers, memorizing short letters, as well as using Islamic storytelling methods, exemplary methods and talaqqi methods in the learning process. These strategies have proven to be able to encourage students to better understand and practice religious values ​​in their daily lives. In addition, teacher role models and school environmental support are important factors in the process of improving students' spiritual intelligence.
