Abstract

The rapid advancement of technology has driven the use of management information systems in all sectors, particularly in business, to facilitate the recording, storage, management, and provision of reports. This includes in the field of recycled goods collection. UD. Melati is one of the trading businesses that focuses on the collection and processing of data on used goods. However, in its activities, UD. Melati has not yet adopted a computerized system. As the volume of goods increases, the reliance on notebooks has become less practical and introduces risks, such as loss and damage. A web-based recycled goods management information system can help control operations and simplify data management. This web-based application is built using the Laravel Framework to enhance web development, making it more attractive and user-friendly. Laravel also offers various advantages, particularly in terms of security, making it an ideal choice for implementing a recycled goods management information system.

Abstract

Medical record management at Puskesmas is one of the important aspects in efficient health services. However, the manual system that is still widely used often causes various problems such as recording errors, and the slow process of making medical decisions. this study aims to design and build a web-based medical record information system that can facilitate digital patient data management. This system is also equipped with the application of the K-Means algorithm to categorize the types of diseases suffered by patients. The patient's disease will be categorized into 3 categories, namely very severe, severe, and not severe by the system. The system development method used is the waterfall method and Unified Modeling Language tools and the system development process using the PHP programming language and MySQL database. With this information system, it is hoped that it can facilitate medical record officers in recapitulating patient data and providing good service.
