Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji bahasa vulgar yang digunakan oleh dhagelan Jawa Timur dialek Mataraman dari segi bentuk lingual, referen, dan fungsi bahasa vulgar dalam humor. Penelitian ini merupakan kajian sosiolinguistik. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah kualitatif dan bersifat deskriptif. Sumber data penelitian diperoleh dari YouTube. Data penelitian dikumpulkan dengan metode simak. Peneliti melaksanakan analisis bentuk, referen, dan fungsi bahasa vulgar. Peneliti juga melaksanakan analisis dan interpretasi penggunaan bahasa vulgar oleh dhagelan. Berdasarkan analisis terhadap 57 data bahasa vulgar, diperoleh hasil bahwa bentuk lingual bahasa vulgar yang dituturkan oleh dhagelan berupa fragmen leksikal sejumlah dua data, kata (monomorfemis dan polimorfemis) sejumlah 38 data, frasa sejumlah tujuh data, dan klausa sejumlah sepuluh data. Referen bahasa vulgar yang dituturkan berasal dari ranah benda sebanyak enam data, aktivitas sebanyak lima belas data, keadaan sebanyak dua belas data, bagian tubuh sebanyak dua belas data, status sebanyak dua data, profesi sebanyak empat data, dan binatang sebanyak enam data. Fungsi bahasa vulgar dalam tuturan humor sekurang-kurangnya ada empat macam, yaitu untuk bercanda, mengungkapkan kekesalan, mengejek, dan pelesetan. Penikmat humor dapat menerima tuturan vulgar oleh dhagelan untuk menciptakan kelucuan dan suasana santai.

Abstract

Heartbreak can give rise to emotions of sadness in a person. If a person cannot control himself, he can do negative things, harm himself, or even commit suicide. Many cases show someone doing negative things in response to heartbreak, for example, by committing suicide. This was very detrimental to him. Thus, someone needs to carry out self-management. The form of emotion and self-management resulting from heartbreak is contained in Serat Panji Jayakusuma. This research aims to determine the form of emotions resulting from heartbreak in Serat Panji Jayakusuma and self-management in responding to emotions resulting from heartbreak. Research related to this has never been carried out before. This research uses qualitative research and is descriptive in nature. The theory used is literary psychology theory, namely through the approach of Sigmund Freud's psychoanalytic theory. The research results show that the characters in Serat Panji Jayakusuma tend to show negative emotions when faced with heartbreak. They become depressed, have no enthusiasm for life, and dare to harm themselves. Self-management can be done to avoid this. Some self-management advice is also conveyed in Serat Panji Jayakusuma. This can be used as inspiration for self-management and living a better life.

Abstract

Writing geguritan is a skill that needs to be mastered by high school level students in Yogyakarta. Even though they are in Yogyakarta, it turns out that Javanese language skills are still an obstacle for students. Javanese language ability influences students' skills in writing geguritan. Students have a limited vocabulary and have difficulty finding inspiration when writing geguritan. This research aims to determine the improvement of geguritan writing skills using the parallelwriting method in class X-1 students at SMA Negeri 3 Yogyakarta. This research is a Classroom Action Research (CAR) model by Kemmis and Mc Taggart. This research uses two cycles. The research procedures that are integrated in each cycle are the planning, action, observation, and reflection stages. The data collection techniques used in this research were tests and non-tests. Based on the research results, it can be seen that the parallelwriting method can improve students' skills in writing geguritan. The average score of students can increase. The average score of students in pre-cycle activities is 64.5, the average score in cycle I is 76, and the average score in cycle II is 77.
