<![CDATA[ABSTRAK Agar ibadah mampu menjadi sarana bagi pertumbuhan iman jemaat, maka perlu untuk diperhatikan penataan ibadahdalam kegiatan ibadah, secaara khusus ibadah minggu. Melalui penataan ini, diharapkan jemaat yang hadir memiliki “pengalaman rohani”, sehingga pengalaman tersebut dapat menjadi kekuatan menghadapi tantangan kehidupan. Penataan yang dilakukan fokus terhadap tata ibadah dan elemen ibadah yang ada. Khotbah dan doa syafaat merupakan elemen ibadah yang sangat penting. Sebagai elemen integral dari ibadah, khotbah dan doa syafaat diharapkan mampu memenuhi kebutuhan jemaat. GeEPEKRIS adalah salah satu gereja yang melakukan upaya dalam rangka optimalisasik kedua elemen ibadah minggu ini. Upaya tersebut diantaranya dilakukan oleh gereja dan jajaran hamba Tuhan di GEPEKRIS Tretes. Apa yang dilakukan oleh gembala jemaat dan jajarannya di GEPEKRIS Tretes ini menjadi langkah positif bagi upaya gereja melaksanakan tugas dan tanggung jawabnya. Namun, harus disadari, bahwa keberhasilan yang diharapkan dapat terwujud ketika gereja dan jemaat dapat bekerja sama dengan baik. Salah satu faktor penting dalam membangun kerjasama ini adalah persepsi jemaat terhadap khotbah dan doa syafaat. Hal ini dikarenakan, persepsi yang dimiliki jemaat memiliki pengaruh yang kuat bagi sikap. Kata kunci; persepsi jemaat;khotbah dan doa syafaat; Gereja Persekutuan Kristen.
