Abstract

Business location selection is a crucial factor in business success, yet it is often done subjectively without a systematic approach. This study aims to develop a web-based decision support system to help business owners determine the best location using the Simple Additive Weighting (SAW) method. This method processes five main criteria: rental costs, space capacity, accessibility, location, and security. Data were obtained through interviews and field observations. The system was designed using a waterfall approach and implemented with an assessment input interface, an automated calculation process, and an alternative ranking output. Test results show the system is able to provide objective location recommendations, with Taman Aster as the best alternative. These findings suggest that integrating the SAW method into a web application can improve the efficiency and accuracy of business location decision-making.Keywords: Business location selection; Decision support system; SAW method; Web application; Culinary businessAbstrakPemilihan lokasi usaha merupakan faktor krusial dalam kesuksesan bisnis, namun masih sering dilakukan secara subjektif tanpa pendekatan sistematis. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengembangkan sistem pendukung keputusan berbasis web untuk membantu pemilik usaha menentukan lokasi terbaik menggunakan metode Simple Additive Weighting (SAW). Metode ini memproses lima kriteria utama: biaya sewa, kapasitas tempat, aksesibilitas, lokasi, dan keamanan. Data diperoleh melalui wawancara dan observasi lapangan. Sistem dirancang menggunakan pendekatan waterfall dan diimplementasikan dengan antarmuka input penilaian, proses perhitungan otomatis, serta output peringkat alternatif. Hasil pengujian menunjukkan sistem mampu memberikan rekomendasi lokasi secara objektif, dengan Taman Aster sebagai alternatif terbaik. Temuan ini menunjukkan bahwa integrasi metode SAW dalam aplikasi web dapat meningkatkan efisiensi dan akurasi pengambilan keputusan lokasi usaha.
