Abstract

In the manufacturing industry, inventory recording that still relies on Excel often leads to various issues, such as stock data discrepanices and a decline in raw material quality due to prolonged storage. This research focuses on designing a FIFO-based inventory information system to optimize accuracy and efficiency in stock management. The system was developed through a system development method consisting of analysis, design, implementation, and evaluation stages. Testing was carried out by running the system using the company’s actual transaction data. The findings of the functional testing demonstrate that all features, form login, master data management, transaction recordin, implementation of the FIFO method, to report generation, function according to specifications. All test scenarios were successful, proving that the system is capable of accurately managing and presenting inventory data and supporting decision-making.Keyword: Raw material inventory; FIFO method; Quality; Stock                                                                                                                AbstrakDalam dunia industri manufaktur, pencatatan persediaan bahan baku yang masih menggunakan excel sering kali menimbulkan berbagai kendala, seperti ketidaksesuaian data stok dan penurunan kualitas bahan baku karena penyimpanan terlalu lama. Penelitian ini difokuskan pada perancangan sistem informasi persediaan berbasis FIFO guna mengoptimalkan akurasi serta efisiensi dalam pengelolaan stok. Sistem dikembangkan menggunakan metode pengujian sistem dengan tahapan analisis, perancangan, implementasi, dan evaluasi. Pengujian ini dilakukan yang dengan menjalankan sistem pada data transaksi aktual Perusahaan. Hasil pengujian fungsionalitas menunjukkan seluruh fitur, mulai dari login, pengelolaan data master, pencatatan transaksi, penerapan metode FIFO, hingga pembuatan laporan, berfungsi sesuai spesifikasi. Semua skenario uji berhasil, membuktikan sistem mampu mengelola dan menyajikan data persediaan secara akurat serta mendukung pengambilan keputusan.Kata Kunci: Persediaan bahan baku; FIFO; Kualitas; Stok
