Abstract

This research was conducted to determine the effect of teacher discipline on student discipline in learning at Smart Eureka Elementary School. This research uses quantitative descriptive method. While the type of approach used in this study is correlational, namely by looking for the relationship (influence) between the two variables. The data collection technique is by distributing a questionnaire in the form of a Likert scale which contains a number of statements about indicators of teacher discipline and student discipline in learning. The author obtained the results of the study with a correlation number of 0.190 which means there is a positive but very low correlation between teacher discipline and student discipline. And the correlation is classified as very strong and very high because the correlation is between 0,000-0,199 based on the level of closeness of the relationship between the two variables, then the determination coefficient is known to be 3.6%. Abstrak Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui pengaruh disiplin guru terhadap disiplin sisiwa dalam belajar di SD Smart Eureka. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskritif kuantitatif. Sedangkan jenis pendekatan yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah korelasional yaitu dengan mencarri hubungan (pengaruh) antara kedua variabel. Teknik pengumpulan datanya yaitu dengan cara menyebarkan angket berupa skala likert yang berisi sejumlah pernyataan tentang indicator-indikator disiplin guru dan disiplin siswa dalam belajar. Penulis memperoleh hasil penelitian dengan angka korelasi sebesar 0,190 yang berarti terdapat korelasi positif yang tapi sangat rendah antara disiplin guru terhadap disiplin siswa. Dan korelasi tersebut tergolong sangat kuat dan sangat tinggi karena korelasinya berada diantara 0,000-0,199 berdasarkan tingkat keeratan hubungan kedua variabel, maka diketahui koefisien determinasinya sebesar 3,6%.
