Abstract

The purpose of this study is to examine and describe the use of online learning media and learning interest in Christian Religious Education at SMA Negeri 1 Wori. This qualitative study was conducted at SMA Negeri 1 Wori, North Minahasa, North Sulawesi, from February to June 2025. Data were collected using interviews, observations, and documentation. The data collected and analyzed using qualitative analysis techniques revealed a lack of variety and effectiveness in the use of online learning media in Christian Religious Education, with a predominant emphasis on WhatsApp, resulting in a lack of student learning interest, as seen from student responses during learning. Based on these findings, it is recommended to develop more variety in the use of online learning media and provide more thoughtful solutions to address the problems of online learning media use, thereby increasing student learning interest in Christian Religious Education.
