Abstract

Pendidikan adalah tangga emas menuju masa depan. Namun, di negeri ini, tangga itu tak selalu berdiri tegak di tempat yang sama. Di kota, anak-anak menapakinya dengan buku digital dan jaringan internet yang deras; sementara di desa, mereka masih harus berjalan jauh, mengendong harapan di punggung, hanya untuk sekadar menyentuh pintu sekolah. Penelitian ini mencoba mengurai benang kusut kesenjangan akses pendidikan antara kota dan desa di Indonesia. Metode yang digunakan adalah analisis deskriptif dengan pendekatan kualitatif, menelaah data dari laporan pemerintah, survei pendidikan, serta wawancara mendalam dengan para pelaku pendidikan. Hasilnya menunjukkan jurang yang nyata: infrastruktur, tenaga pendidik, dan teknologi lebih akrab dengan kota, sementara desa berjuang dengan keterbatasan sarana dan ekonomi keluarga. Kajian ini tidak hanya menampilkan angka, tetapi juga suara-suara yang sering tenggelam—suara anak-anak yang ingin belajar, suara guru yang bertahan di pelosok. Dari sini, lahirlah rekomendasi: kebijakan inklusif yang bukan sekadar cetak biru, melainkan jembatan yang menghubungkan kota dan desa. Sebab, pendidikan tak boleh menjadi hak istimewa, melainkan napas yang bisa dihirup siapa saja, di mana saja.

Abstract

Serial One Piece bukan hanya kisah petualangan bajak laut yang mencari harta karun, melainkan juga narasi ideologis tentang kebebasan, persahabatan, dan perjuangan melawan penindasan. Artikel ini berupaya menyingkap dimensi pendidikan karakter dalam One Piece dengan menempatkannya sebagai refleksi terhadap ideologi kebebasan yang relevan bagi generasi muda. Melalui pendekatan kualitatif berbasis analisis wacana, teks One Piece dibaca sebagai representasi nilai-nilai keberanian, solidaritas, integritas, dan perlawanan terhadap struktur kekuasaan yang menindas. Penekanan Luffy dan krunya pada “kebebasan” tidak hanya hadir sebagai cita-cita individual, tetapi juga sebagai prinsip moral kolektif yang meneguhkan kesetiaan, tanggung jawab, dan penghargaan atas martabat manusia. Dalam konteks pendidikan, nilai-nilai ini dapat menjadi inspirasi untuk membentuk karakter generasi muda yang kritis, berani menyuarakan keadilan, sekaligus menghargai perbedaan. Dengan demikian, One Piece dapat dibaca sebagai teks budaya populer yang membuka ruang bagi pedagogi kritis, yakni pendidikan karakter yang tidak berhenti pada moralitas formal, tetapi bergerak ke arah praksis pembebasan.

Abstract

The phenomenon of “brain rot,” or the decline in cognitive capacity caused by exposure to fast-paced content, has become a serious concern in education. With the rise of technology, particularly social media and short-form video applications, students are increasingly exposed to an endless stream of information delivered quickly and relentlessly. This exposure has been linked to a decline in attention span, concentration, and the ability to absorb information in the learning context. This article aims to systematically review the existing literature on the relationship between fast-paced content exposure and attention in educational settings. Based on an analysis of recent studies, this review shows a significant correlation between high consumption of short-form video content and reduced focus and cognitive abilities in students. The findings of this review are expected to provide insights for educators and policymakers in designing effective learning strategies and mitigating the negative impacts of attention-diverting content.

Abstract

The phenomenon of social media addiction has emerged as a critical issue demanding scholarly attention within the educational landscape of the 21st century. Amid the accelerating tide of digitalization, social media has evolved beyond a platform for interaction—it has become a cognitive arena that shapes thinking patterns, learning behaviors, and academic outcomes. This study presents a meta-analysis of 82 empirical studies published between 2015 and 2025, aiming to identify overarching patterns, quantitative effects, and moderating variables that influence the relationship between social media addiction and academic achievement. The synthesis reveals a negative correlation of moderate strength (r = -0.32), indicating that higher levels of social media addiction are associated with lower academic performance among students and university learners. However, the effect size varies across cultural contexts, platform types, and individual time-management strategies. Conceptually, these findings reaffirm that social media addiction is not merely a behavioral issue but an epistemic concern that erodes cognitive focus and learning discipline. Therefore, the urgency of digital literacy, reflective learning, and educational policies responsive to media dynamics becomes increasingly vital. This study aspires to contribute a fresh perspective to digital education discourse that is holistic, humanistic, and contextually grounded.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the transformation of education within farming communities and how an education curriculum can be developed to support the empowerment of farmers in the modern era. In the context of agriculture, which is constantly evolving, the importance of relevant and sustainable education is essential for improving farmers' welfare. Using a qualitative approach, this research analyzes the challenges, needs, and potential within farming communities in facing social and economic changes. The main focus of this study is to identify key elements in the curriculum that can empower farmers to adopt environmentally-friendly agricultural technologies, enhance entrepreneurial skills, and strengthen their social capacities to build self-reliant communities. The findings of this research are expected to contribute to the development of agricultural education policies that are more aligned with the real needs on the ground and strengthen food security at the community level.

Abstract

The phenomenon of brain rot in students, characterized by a decline in focus, concentration, and memory due to excessive exposure to fast-paced content, has become an increasing challenge in modern education. Interactive technology is considered an effective solution to mitigate these negative effects. This article aims to explore the use of interactive technology in reducing the impact of brain rot on students. Through an approach based on the use of digital tools that support active learning, this paper identifies various technological strategies that can be applied to enhance cognitive engagement, such as game-based learning, virtual reality (VR)-based learning applications, and online collaborative platforms. The study also discusses the role of teachers and educational institutions in designing curricula that optimally integrate interactive technology to mitigate brain rot and improve the quality of learning. The expected outcomes from the application of interactive technology are enhanced cognitive abilities in students to cope with the demands of more complex learning and a reduction in memory decline caused by the disruption of fast-paced content.

Abstract

The phenomenon of brain rot has silently crept into classrooms—students are physically present, yet their minds wander through the corridors of algorithms and instant entertainment. In this context, teachers are no longer mere transmitters of knowledge but guardians of awareness. This study explores the role of teachers in preventing and addressing brain rot—a condition marked by cognitive decline and reduced attention span caused by excessive exposure to shallow digital content. Using a descriptive qualitative approach, the research examines pedagogical strategies that are humanistic, reflective, and adaptive to the challenges of the digital age. The findings reveal that teachers hold a strategic position as curators of meaning: guiding students not only to consume information but also to transform it into understanding. These efforts include fostering deep literacy habits, implementing dialogue-based learning, and creating learning environments that nurture self-awareness and empathy. Thus, the teacher’s role extends beyond the transfer of knowledge—toward becoming a guardian who ensures that reason and mindfulness continue to grow amid the flood of digital distractions.

Abstract

The global ecological crisis increasingly reveals its contours through the rising frequency of natural disasters, the depletion of resources, and the disruption of ecosystem balance. In this context, environmental preservation is no longer a mere moral discourse but an imperative for civilization. This article examines how environmental conservation must be positioned as a strategic foundation in confronting climate change and the growing complexity of ecological degradation. Using a qualitative-analytical approach, the study explores the interrelation between human behavior, public policy, and ecological dynamics that constantly influence one another. The findings indicate that the success of ecological crisis mitigation relies heavily on the integration of ecological values into development patterns, resource governance, and collective societal awareness. Thus, environmental preservation becomes a meeting point between scientific insight, ethical commitment, and practical action—each essential to be carried out consistently and sustainably. Through a deeper understanding of this urgency, it is hoped that new development models may emerge, addressing economic demands while ensuring the continuity of the Earth as our shared home.
