Abstract

The development of technology and information in the era of globalization has had a significant influence. This does not rule out the possibility in managing an insititution’s database. Database management in one quite important way of operating an organization’s information. The aim of this research is to determine database management in improving the quality of islamic boarding school services in the PD-Pontren section of the Tuban Regency Ministry of Religion Office. This research uses qualitative methods by conducting direct interviews with informants. The research results show that database management in the qualityy of islamic boarding school services is contained in the SINTREN and EMIS applications. This SINTREN aplication contains information about submitting new registration certificates, job extensions, and activation. Meanwhile the EMIS aplication puts more emphasis on the management of the islamic boarding school itself, starting from data on institutions, students, educators, and so on. Apart from system based manajement. This management is carried out directly at the Tuban Regency Ministry of Religion office and runs quie smoothly, although it does not rule out the ossibility that there will still be several obstacles in the implementation process. Both system based and manual management.

Abstract

Sistem Informasi Manajemen Pengembangan Keprofesian Berkelanjutan (SIM PKB) Dalam Pengembangan Keprofesian Guru. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menjawab fokus penelitian mengenai Sistem Informasi Manajemen Pengembangan Keprofesian Berkelanjutan (SIM PKB) SMP Nurul Islam dan SMP Al Maliki Lumajang, Pengembangan Keprofesian Guru SMP Nurul Islam dan SMP Al Maliki Lumajang, dan Sistem Informasi Manajemen Pengembangan Keprofesian Berkelanjutan (SIM PKB) Dalam Pengembangan Keprofesian Guru di SMP Nurul Islam dan SMP Al Maliki Lumajang. Jenis penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif dengan desain studi multisitus. Subjek penelitian ini adalah Kepala Sekolah, Waka Kurikulum, Operator Sekolah, Guru, dan Admin Dinas Pendidikan dan Kebudayaan Kabupaten Lumajang. Sistem Informasi Manajemen Pengembangan Keprofesian Berkelanjutan (SIM PKB) dalam Pengembangan Keprofesian Guru di SMP Nurul Islam Lumajang dan SMP Al Maliki Lumajang, sudah berjalan dengan baik, karena SIM PKB memberikan dampak memiliki guru – guru yang kompeten, guru aktif mengikuti pelatihan, memudahkan pendataan pengembangan keprofesian guru menjadi efektif dan efisien hanya dengan melewati SIM PKB.

Abstract

This research provides an in-depth examination of the 7P marketing mix strategy within Phatnawitya School, an Islamic institution catering to a minority Muslim community in a predominantly Buddhist region of Southern Thailand. Utilizing a qualitative methodology with a descriptive approach, the study explores the school's application of the 7P framework, focusing on the creation of well-rounded individuals and the establishment of a strong community presence. The collected data reveal a comprehensive education offering, from early childhood to advanced Islamic studies, facilitated by a robust infrastructure and innovative programs such as the Change ILP and sports initiatives. The school's approach to market identification, segmentation, and product differentiation demonstrates a strategic alignment with the needs and expectations of its student body. The research highlights the school's adept use of both direct community engagement and social media to communicate its values and offerings. While the study is limited by its singular focus on one institution, the findings suggest that Phatnawitya School's implementation of the marketing mix can inform broader strategies for Islamic educational services in similar socio-cultural contexts. Recommendations for further research include a broader examination of marketing strategies across Islamic educational institutions with varying cultural influences.
