Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara karakteristik Individu (X1), Disiplin Kerja  (X2), dan Motivasi (X3) Terhadap Kinerja Karyawan (Y) Yayasan Khalifah Cendekia. Sebagi unit sampel penelitian adalah seluruh populasi karyawan sebanyak 29 orang. Untuk membuktikan kebenaran hipotesis digunakan Analisis Regresi Linier Berganda dibantu oleh software smart Partial Least Square (PLS) 1.01. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwakarakteristik individu berpengaruh secara signifikan terhadap kinerja pegawai, Disiplin kerja berpengaruh secara signifikan terhadap kinerja pegawai, dan motivasi berpengaruh secara signifikan terhadap kinerja pegawai. Pengaruh secara bersama – sama sebesar 0,424 atau 42,4% sedangkan sisanya 57,6% dipengaruhi oleh variabel lainnya yang tidak diteliti.

Abstract

ABSTRACTThis study was to determine the effect of leadership style variables (X1), education level (X2) and employee behavior (X3) partially influence the performance (Y) of case study employees of PT. Dumas Tanjung Perak Surabaya Shipyards, leadership style variable (X1), education level (X2) and employee behavior (X3) have a simultaneous effect on employee performance (Y) case study of PT. Dumas Tanjung Perak Shipyards Surabaya. This type of research is quantitative. The sample in this study were employees of PT. Dumas Tanjung Perak Shipyards Surabaya with 105 of 316 employees through questionnaires or questionnaires. Data analysis techniques are validity test, reliability test, multiple regression regression coefficient of determination (R2) and correlation coefficient, t test and f test. The results of the study explained that partially the leadership style (X1), education level (X2) and employee behavior (X3) had a partial effect on the performance (Y) of employees had a significant effect, and the results of simultaneous leadership style research (X1), education level (X2 ) and employee behavior (X3) have a partial effect on the performance (Y) of employees having a significant effect and it can be interpreted that H0 is rejected and H1 is accepted. Keywords: Effect of leadership style, level of education, employee behavior and employee performance

Abstract

The aim of this study is to examine the effect of leadership style and work environment to work motivation to improve employee performance. The approach used is quantitative parametric method of Structural Equation Model. The study object is the production employees of PT Suparma Tbk. The results showed leadership style has positive but not significant  effect on work motivation; work environment has positive and significant effect on employee motivation; leadership style has  negative but not significant effect on employee performance; the working environment is not significant positive effect on employee performance; and motivation has positive and significant effect on employee performance. Work Motivation as intervening variable (Y),  is able to be explained by exogenous variables leadership style variable (X1) and Work environment (X2) by 55.4%, and the remaining 44.6% is explaiened by variables outside the models. Whereas endogenous variables, employee performance (Z) which is explained by the work motivation variable (Y), work environment (X1), and the style of leadership (X2) amounted to 94.1%, and the remaining 5.9% is explained by variables outside the model. With the calculation of sub-structural equation 1 is Y = 0,053X_1 + 1,065X_2 + 0,833, and the calculation of substructural equation 2 is Z = -0,193X_1 + 0,529X_2 + 0,723Y + 0.338.
