Abstract

Ankle sprains are among the most common sports injuries, often resulting in pain, swelling, and functional limitations that can persist if not treated properly. This study aims to determine the effectiveness of Kinesio Taping (KT) in reducing pain and improving functional activity in patients with ankle sprains. A literature review method was employed, analyzing five selected studies published between 2013 and 2023, using databases such as PubMed and Google Scholar. The PICO framework guided the research, with inclusion criteria involving patients aged 10 to 30 years and exclusion criteria including systematic reviews and outdated articles. The results indicate that Kinesio Taping, applied at 25%-50% intensity for 20-30 minutes, three times a week over 4 weeks, significantly reduces pain and improves functional balance, as evidenced by tools like the Cumberland Ankle Instability Tool (CAIT) and Star Excursion Balance Test (SEBT). Compared to control interventions, KT consistently showed significant improvements (p<0.05) in pain reduction and joint stability. The findings confirm that Kinesio Taping is a non-invasive, cost-effective therapy that supports joint stability, improves lymphatic drainage, and accelerates recovery, making it a practical and evidence-based intervention for clinicians and athletes to promote faster recovery and reduce recurrence risk.

Abstract

Baby massage is a touch therapy that involves massaging the baby with the aim of helping speed up the baby's motor development process. This research aims to determine the effectiveness of baby massage on baby's motor development. A literature review was conducted using a PICO search in the Google Scholar database. The research results show that massage can be done on babies with a frequency of 1-2 times/day for 1 month and lasts 10 to 15 minutes, providing tactile stimulation before/after bathing with p<0.05 gives good results. has an important influence on motor development, babies who receive massage and movement training have faster growth and development than babies who do not receive massage and movement training. Baby massage is one way of manual therapy that influences soft tissue to improve baby's health

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui seberapa besar pengaruh budaya organisasi, keterlibatan kerja, dan kepuasan kerja terhadap organizational citizenship behavior (OCB) Pegawai Yayasan Pendidikan Diniyyah Putri Lampung, dengan sampel 100 responden pegawai YPDPL. Metode analisis yang digunakan adalah analisis regresi berganda. Hasil penelitian yang didapatkan berdasarkan uji parsial (uji t) diperoleh : (a) secara parsial terdapat pengaruh signifikan antara budaya organisasi terhadap organizational citizenship behavior (OCB). Dengan demikian Ho ditolak dan Ha diterima. (b) secara parsial terdapat pengaruh signifikan antara keterlibatan kerja terhadap organizational citizenship behavior (OCB). Dengan demikian Ho ditolak dan Ha diterima. (c) secara parsial terdapat pengaruh signifikan antara kepuasan kerja terhadap organizational citizenship behavior (OCB). Dengan demikian Ho ditolak dan Ha diterima. (d) kemudian berdasarkan hasil uji hipotesis secara bersama-sama (Uji F) budaya organisasi, keterlibatan kerja, dan kepuasan kerja berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap organizational citizenship behavior (OCB) Karyawan. Berdasarkan uji koefisien determinasi (R2) diperoleh nilai sebesar 74,1% hal ini menunjukkan bahwa persentase sumbangan variabel independen budaya organisasi, keterlibatan kerja, dan kepuasan kerja sebesar 74,1% sedangkan sisanya sebesar 25,9% dipengaruhi dari variabel diluar penelitian seperti kompensasi, dan komitmen karyawan. Akhirnya penulis menyarankan kepada pihak manajemen Yayasan Pendidikan Diniyyah Putri Lampung mampu meningkatkan Keterlibatan Kerja, dan Kepuasan Kerja, serta mempertahankan Budaya Organisasi yang telah baik.
