Abstract

An archetype is a model or initial pattern that becomes the basis for the formation and development of new things; a prototype, unique characteristics, or actions that reflect universal patterns such as human nature. Parenting is a method or system of nurturing, caring for, educating, and guiding children from birth to adulthood so that they become moral and disciplined individuals. The hadhanah archetype refers to efforts to educate, nurture, and care for children until they are adults and independent. This study seeks to understand the hadhanah model/archetype of children in Plandirejo Village, Bakung, Blitar. The research findings will be analyzed from an IPR perspective. This study uses an empirical method. The results show: Childcare practices in Plandirejo Village are considered ineffective because many parents work as migrant workers, and 85% of foster parents use gadgets in caring for their children. This is caused by the habit of introducing toys through cellphones/devices from an early age, as well as easy access to entertainment to overcome children's fussiness. As a result, children tend to be less social with their surroundings and less interested in religious activities.
