Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of influencers and product innovation on purchasing decisions for virtual products in the Mobile Legends game, with a case study of the Mobile Legend Universe Discord community. The study used quantitative methods with a multiple regression analysis approach to test the relationship between the independent variables (influencers and product innovation) and the dependent variable (purchase decision). The results showed that influencers have a positive influence of 35.6% on purchasing decisions, with the main indicators being reputation and information updates submitted by influencers. Meanwhile, product innovation exerts a greater influence, at 50.4%, mainly through affordable product prices and product revisions that improve user experience. Simultaneously, these two variables influence purchase decisions by 54.4%, while the other 46.2% is influenced by other factors not explained in this study. These findings underscore the importance of influencer-based marketing strategies and product innovation in increasing player interest in and loyalty to in-game virtual products.

Abstract

The low participation skills of students in Vocational High Schools (SMK) are a challenge in strengthening Civic Education learning. The School Literacy Movement (GLS) is seen as a strategy that not only improves reading and writing skills but also encourages active student involvement in the learning process (Ministry of Education and Culture, 2016). This study aims to describe the use of saung as a means of strengthening the School Literacy Movement in building student participation skills at SMK Texar Karawang. This study uses a qualitative approach with a case study method. Data were collected through interviews, observations, and documentation involving the principal, GLS coordinator, and students. The results show that the use of saung as a literacy space can create a more open and dialogical learning atmosphere, thus encouraging students to actively read, discuss, express opinions, and engage in literacy activities in a participatory manner. These findings indicate that saung not only functions as a physical literacy facility, but also as a social space that contributes to the development of student participation skills.
