Abstract

This qualitative library research analyzes the educational values embedded in Surah al-Kahfi verses 60-82 and their direct relevance to the educational process in Islamic boarding schools. Employing a descriptive-analytical approach to textual data from scholarly books and journals, this study identifies a comprehensive set of educational principles. The findings reveal that Surah al-Kahfi (60-82) articulates values pertaining to key educational elements, including objectives, learners, teachers, curriculum, methods, and tools. Furthermore, specific Islamic educational values such as a high work ethic, perseverance, patience, student-teacher ethics, critical thinking, and faith are prominently highlighted in the narrative of Prophets Musa and Khidir. The analysis demonstrates that these values are highly pertinent and widely applied within the pedagogical framework of Islamic boarding schools, fostering an educational environment aligned with the Quranic teachings. The study expects these findings to offer valuable insights for enhancing Islamic education practices.

Abstract

The purpose of doing this research is to analyze the educational values in Surah al-Kahfi verses 60-82 and make a relationship or relevance to the educational process in Islamic boarding schools. In this study using qualitative research or library research. The reason is that the information used in this study is not in the form of numbers but in the form of data from both books and journals, all of which will be described clearly and in detail to develop an analysis of values education. In the qualitative research here, the researcher uses the library research method, which is a library research. The results of the study show that the educational values contained in surah al-Kaahf verses 60-82 are values that are include in the elements of education, namely educational goals, students, teachers, subject matter, educational methods and tools. In addition, there are also values of Islamic education in the story of Prophet Musa and Prophet Khidir in Surah al-Kahfi verses 60-82, these values include : high work ethic and never give up, patience, student;s ethic to the teacher, critical thinking, and faith value. And all the analysis obtained, if it is relevant to education in Islamic Boarding School, almost all values have applied and it is hoped that the result will be accordance with the content of surah al-Kahf verses 60-82

Abstract

Guidance and counseling services in schools is an effort to help students in the development of personal life, social life, learning activities, as well as planning and career development. Guidance and counseling services facilitate the development of students individually, in groups, and or classically, according to their needs, potential, talents, interests, developments, conditions, and opportunities. This service also helps overcome weaknesses and obstacles as well as problems faced by students. This research was conducted at IT Raudhatul Ulum Sakatiga High School, Ogan Ilir Regency and carried out from March to June 2022. This study aims to determine the implementation of the guidance and counseling program for students at IT Raudhatul Ulum Sakatiga High School and to determine the role of BK teachers in the implementation of the guidance and counseling program. counseling and overcoming student delinquency at SMA IT Raudhatul Ulum, Sakatiga Village, Indralaya Ogan Ilir District. This type of research is descriptive qualitative research tells a situation to draw a conclusion. The data sources of this research are primary and secondary data, informants in this study are school principals, Guidance and Counseling teachers, students, homeroom teachers, and student affairs administrators. The instrument of data collection in this study was interviews, observation, and documentation. Based on the results of this study, it was concluded that the implementation of the guidance and counseling program at SMA IT Raudhatul Ulum Sakatiga had been going well. This happens because of the cooperation between the BK teacher and the principal as well as with teachers of other subjects. The role of BK teachers in overcoming problematic students, providing advice, guidance, assistance, directing, and giving warnings. While the efforts that have been made are preventive, repressive and curative efforts.
